One of the best home stays I have ever stayed . Viju and his team works very hard to make this stay comfortable . We loved the ambience . It is mixture of traditional Kerala culture and modern art . Plus there is a beautiful garden and library with rich collection of books . They had prepared amazing pan cakes and appam for us for breakfast which was mind blowing . Do ask for canoe ride which gives us glimpse of local life of people living on the islands of back water . Please read about the place and rules before booking the place though . Me and my wife enjoyed a lot .

An excellent home stay. Both Bijo n sunita are very kind and helpful!! The house is very clean and well kept. Beautiful place to spend time with family. They serve excellent breakfast with lots of fresh fruits and juices. Simply enjoyed the stay there and surely recommend this place for a peaceful n rejuvenating holiday. They also have a well trained doggy called Jackie who himself is a great host. 👍👍👌👌

We tried diverse types of accomodations in our trip to Kerala. This homestay stood out as one of the best. Would recommend for all sorts of travellers. Stayed for 4 days, good experience with the owner Biju.Pros - Great breakfast, great host,well kept rooms, cleanliness, ambience, library of books to read.Cons- Location is a bit hidden, in a small lane, no TV, no room service,small rooms, rooms are cleaned once in 2 days, no food is available at the homestay barring the breakfast served, hot water heater conked frequently during our stay.Overall - If you want a quiet stay away from the hustle and bustle go for it.

Where do I begin? Lets start with the welcome. Biju greets you with a refreshing juice and explains how to get around and where everything is. The room is spacious with good aircon. There is plenty of free bottled water. The bed is comfortable. Then there is breakfast. Toast, tea or coffee, jam, butter, pancakes, watermelon, orange, bananas (from the garden), lassi. Followed by omelette or scrambled eggs, if you have room. Nothing is too much trouble. They will also organise a day on the backwaters in a kayak. Highly recommended.

Truly a great home stay, and a distinction should be given to the people (Biju, Natasha, and Sunita) who care about wellbeing of the guests. They make sure that the guests have great experience in Alleppey. They are very experienced in this business, and understand the needs of foreign visitors. The room and bathroom were very clean and AC worked very well. Drinking water, toiletries and clean towels were provided for maximum comfort. I love Kerala pancakes!! It was like coming back home after a very long absence. Bijou is totally committed and dedicated to our needs. Within the first hour he introduced us to the guy that was our Very good and fairly priced driver for the next part of our trip. He also introduced us to the owner of the boat that we would enjoy the overnight backwater trip with as well as set up our 1/2 day paddle canoe trip for the next day. He took care of our excess luggage while we were on the over night trip. Technically we had checked out but he was able to let us freshen up in our room before leaving the next day. Always totally helpful and obliging. Set up a fair (local) tuctuc driver for our spontaneous evening meal. The room was excellent. Food excellent. Wifi excellent. Location exactly what we wanted. A little off the beaten track. But accessible to everything. Lighting via solar panels. I can relate to this. We use and are big fans of solar. Good luck Bijou. Thanks again for all your help.

Such a lovely place to stay in Alleppey. Quaint and homely. Very peaceful.Biju is a wonderful host and takes care of anything you may need. I was travelling solo and Biju went out of his way to make sure I felt at home and always answered any questions I had. He also arranges transportation for you if you need it. Highly recommend if youre visiting Alleppey.

A long confirmed Vacation was due in the list. So we planned and reached kudremukh, western ghats at around 9 30am in the morning and our stay was arranged at so called #BellaHomeStay near kudremukh checkpost. One good thing is this property is just next to the checkpost and it’s being run by a person named chandan who’s quite influential and well known in locality. When you pass the checkpost usually forest officials ask for pass but when you say Chandan’s name they just don’t stop you and will allow you to go very fast without any delays. The most happening about the home stay is it is in between the mountains which is filled with fog and mist all the time. The weather was just amazing and this is the perfect time to visit western ghats. It’s always rainy foggy chill out weather. They serve good food and meals. Their service and hospitality is top class. They come and clean the place very often. One more thing is you don’t get network there but if you have a jio sim you can connect them to a jio booster which they have it in the property. The property is so clean and well maintained all the time. You feel like staying there for long. When you visit this place be away from mobile and social media guys as you just need to enjoy the weather Nature and atmosphere ❤️ And overall it’s a total entertainment package. I absolutely loved it place, I stayed their for 2 nights 3 days, I a totally recommend this place if you are visiting Alleppey .. The breakfast you get their is out of the world. The owner of this homestay Mr Biju is the nicest person I ever know, he helped gave us one map to explore Alleppey, shared his experiences with us and the services was awesome. And I cannot forget Jackie the pug, the cutest pug and I remember last day, Jackie was so sad that we were leaving. This homestay is very beautiful and gives you the best view. Its very near to Backwaters (8 mins) distance and from Alleppey beach as well (15 mins). Their are so many beautiful Church and restaurants as well.

WORST PLACE TO STAY....would not recommend anyone to stay here at any cost...The owner of this house is a gangster and is a psychopath..would request Google to block these Morons. The Owner tried to harass me n my wife and without staying for single day he forcefully got 4000 rs from me and also thrashed side mirror of one of our Drivers Car...This ridiculous behaviour of Bella Home stay in Alleppey was not at all expected.
