Houseboat was nice. Cleanliness and hygeine was maintained. Food was average.. overall it was a good experience. Staffs were trustworthy but some were very rude . Things to keep in mind..1. Go on time for having food2. Check the room thoroughly for broken handles, furniture and inform the management at that time itself.3. If you have car then ask them where to park for free.Giving 4 star for the beautiful backwater view.

The houseboat was okay as we expected quite a good interiors based on the pictures shared when booking. And it was very hot when we entered the boat, we had to upgrade to AC which was extra 1000 for 7 hours, a bit high. We have booked a honeymoon package and the relevant services were satisfactory. But the lunch, the way it served was not up to the mark, though the food was good and tasty. The manager promised an extra hour of cruise but it was not planned and the staff were not informed. And when we followed up, the response was not promising.Considering the staff service and food quality, I have given a 3, or else would have gone for 2.

Very bad experience.. literally dont wanna visit here again! Doesnt matter how many people you are, they will provide you only one towel & soap in your room.. There are so many insects & we also faced water problems!Coming to food, they do have buffet system & we liked the food no doubt but they also have time limits and food & utensils gets over so fast as they are very limited! They also have a weird serving style of glasses for water. One glass for one table only & they didnt even gave us extra glass even after asking.. Havent seen such a worst hospitality anywhere!Dont waste your money and time on this houseboat!

Felt cheated.... we had booked entire boat for our group of families, But while reaching there after waiting for 1 hr for boat we came to know that we have to share the boat wo other travelers. this was so Unprofessional behaviour by Co Owner/Director Mr. Manoj. Giving one star extra just for polite boat staff and looks of the boat. Cleanliness and hygiene has to be improved.Boat staff and looks of the boat are good, food is normal local food. Taste was good. But unprofessional management.Generally one should book houseboat stay if have a lively group to enjoy the place. Nothing much can be expected from houseboats to give u the entertainment.

Food is the worst i had ever tasted. Restroom is so bad and isnt hygenic. Boat engine is right under the bed, cannot even sleep with huge vibrations underneath. No AC. For lunch on non veg menu, only fish is available, wait what?! Btw the bed smells so bad. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS BOATHOUSE AT ALL. FOOD IS THE WORST OF ALL THE TIME.

If you are taking boat to enjoy the beauty of back waters you have to take a option of India Vacations House Boats, which is fully glass covered lounge, restaurant and balcony. Really we can enjoy the beauty from the boat. Also the service is very good , the staffs are really helpful for us, the food part they will provide traditional kerala food in the afternoon, Tea/ coffee with snacks in the evening , and for dinner they will serve both south Indian and north Indian food, they are having the option of veg. and Non. veg food. Nice experience with India vacations...

Beautiful boat, beautiful experience!Only two things which bothered me were lunch food quality and the water for washrooms.Lunch was buffet, but neither they maintained quality nor the variety. Dinner and breakfast were good though.In the washroom, the running water is very very dirty. It is the same water as of the river. One cannot also wash his face in that.

I and my family had a good experience, It was good.... The food was also marvelous!👌 We enjoyed by watching the beauty of kerala in the houseboat. There was a balcony at the front with a large sofa bed... We was sleeping in it and watching the environment... There was every facilities we needed😀 My rooms are neat. It is also good for family and group. I am also satisfied with the staffs behaviour. They were polite and kind.....

Pleasant, Refreshing and Calm place to stay in this location, Stayed for two nights, staff were very friendly and turn down services, tasty sea food. Especially my son enjoyed a lot. My family and I booked the houseboat on booking. com. We looked at the pictures to determine which boat to choose. The boat we got held no resemblance to the pictures. It was disgusting. The food was below average. We consider that company fraudulent because they promised one thing but gave you something inferior. We complained to booking.com. They insisted they could not be responsible for what the companies advertise. Disgusted and disappointed.

I stayed in this house boat from jan-22-2020 to jan-23 with my wife .It was really a great stay at reduced rate. Their hospitality and staff behavior is really appreciable. The package includes good food also. Room provided was neat and clean. Enjoyed a lot and will visit once again.

Our stay was great and comfortable....food was very very tasty and was prepared fresh on the boat...all three meals were delicious..and staff was also very friendly...they even provide tea and snacks in the evening time....We were newly married so they arranged a candle light dinner on the deck and also decorated our room with flowers...The entire experience was awesome...they even provide games like carrom and ludo for recreation...Although some things did bother me...1. There was no cold water available as it was very hot and humid when I visited. There was a working refrigerator even then they couldnt provide cold water.2. On the deck there were no chairs or any kind of seating for you to enjoy the view leisurely...we had to bring the dining area chairs to the deck to sit which were not very comfortable. Although the owner told me in a few days he is going to install beach reclining chairs on the deck.3. TV in the room but no connection or set top box4. The room was good but the dining area was different from the pictures uploaded on the net....very simple furniture instead of the fancy one showing on their website.But last 2 points are very minor and ignorable and first two maybe corrected as the manager assured me....overall a very nice experience...will recommend it...👍

Such a nice experience we have recently in this beautiful houseboat. It is the same like photos shared by the agent. We will strongly recommend this houseboat. Absolutely meet and clean room, bathrooms, kitchen, staffs are so polite and good. You ask anything extra, they will provide you. Specifically food is awesome. And the most important thing, we got it in a very cheap price. Only 14k we booked the entire houseboat for 10 pax , 3 rooms with 3 times food.

The hospitality and concern shown since the time of booking the houseboat is exceptional. The property is very clean, staffs are polite and welcoming,food is awesome. Worst experience I had. They charges more money by showing premium houseboat and provided worst boat. they are doing fraud, by showing good boats and manipulating the people. If we asked for return, they didnt even respond back. Dont waste your money on these kind of Fraudsters.

I had booked full day AC but the AC was not working for 4-5 hours. I had to complain to makemytrip through which I had booked the hotel to get this resolved.Food quality was average. Did not like the food very much.In the bathroom the window was broken. Everything else in the room was good. Bed, lighting, view from the room was good.Boat was moving giving a good view.

The staff is very nice to us. But the owner Manoj and Representative Veena nair are experts in fraud. We paid 40k for the boat we liked and we got a different boat for 35k. Though we are requesting for refund of 5k theyre not even responding.Please never book with them. Its a waste of valuable money.

We stayed for a night in houseboat named CUBS. It was a great experience to stay in this houseboat. A nicely maintained houseboat n food was decent. It took us on a tour of backwaters for 4 hours, which was awesome. Overall a good experience.

Very bad experience from manoj and veena ..They promised us one boat and gave us another boatWhich is low grade and different And they charged us with premium boat..When we asked for refund they are not respondingThey made us to wait for 1 and half hour at boat boarding point for boat.. Be careful when booking with them.. they wont give u what they promise.. i suggest not to book with them if u want value for money.. there is continuous swith on and switch off of acOnly good thing what we have is staff is very good and thier service is good

The staff was amazing, rooms tidy, food was good, views were nice... Then it all went south... The boat broke down... They spent 4+ hours to send a replacement... That too when we raised hell.. the entire day was spent being stranded in one place... Wasted the entire day... Could not cruise also missed the village walks etc... The new boat was just not equipped to handle so many people, also the staff was indifferent and food was downright bad.... They have a very good rating on lot of websites... But my experience was bad... There were at least 6 different families on the boat the same day... Everyone had the same experience

I just want to share my experience faced with the boatFirst pros: people in the boat who served us they are extremely goodCons:while booking boat the owner manoj and representative veena nair both are good with their words after reaching the place and payment done they didnt even respond to our phone calls and messages. as we people selected one boat with highly expensive and the owner gave us different one which is not in the pics which is not worthy. and toomany times power supply problem and a bit water problem not even responding while trying to connect with them.

Actually boat videos and photos are different from what they sent to us.... 12 pm is checkin and we got at 2pm. Perfect fraud people owner: manoj and representative: veena nair.... Didnt recieve anything wat we are promised. No response from owner and representative. No proper ac during the day times. In the morny the boat some technical problem and asked us to leave early before the checkout time. Dnt book this boat and dnt encourage these fruad people

Extremely bad quality of customer service from Mr. Manoj. If you are planning to hire this houseboat please ensure to discuss the cancellation policy. These people are totally rude and unhelpful when it comes to refunding the advance payment made while booking. I had to cancel my plan due to the recent kerala floods and asked for a refund of my booking amount. These guys flatly refused to entertain to any refunds. Moreover, I was asked for rescheduling charges to move my trip to another month. Already had a bad experience even before visiting this place. Not sure what kind of treatment we would have got after going there. I am glad I cancelled my trip.

I went with my family and this was my second time to HOUSEBOAT in Kerala.This time my experience was worst. Aircons in Rooms were so third class that if we switch-on for 3 hrs then only we can feel cold otherwise its worthless.Second thing is at night our room lights and AC didnt work, so we were not able to sleep properly. Food was average and the pics of Houseboat are not as provided at site.I wont recommend this boat to anyone.

We had stayed here on 21 Oct 2019 (shared boat), our boat started late (4 PM) because co passengers reached late and boat people tried to cover this by providing extra time in late evening and morning. They had not provide the room which we had booked through MMT. They switched off the AC in morning 6AM even though we had booked for full day and complaint to MMT they started it again around 7AM. We are vegetarian so we had not expected much about food but it was okay ( not bad). Ovarall experience on boat was nice, room was clean but small in size and doesnt have curtain on bathroom window.

Houseboat was good,authentic traditional Kerala houseboat. But the customer service was not good,very disappointing. Food is limited and if you ask for more,they will reply saying sorry its over. Rooms were clean and tidy but AC was switched off every 30mins,which was intolerable.Overall I am rating 2 stars only for the houseboat,sundeck and backwater view..very Poor customer service and insufficient meals.

It was a horrible experience of all five couples staying there.. I m surprised to c d reviews. .Ac doesnt work. .No activities.. Food was quite typical of their choice. . Every one was cribbing. .Kids were getting bored as no music n TV is just a showpiece doesnt work.... N top of all d pics which we saw on Google shows an excellent ambience but nothing like dat. . Memorable.....nyc location n viwes across the lake it was one of the biggst housboad in Alleppey with big dinn n dwrg rooms with out door seating space. U cud c all around n take beautifull pictures. The bed rooms was really good, bed was very Comfortable. The food is excellent varieties of food srvd. The staff was very frndly n polite.the backwater fishing n able to bbuy ur own fish/ or anythg u cud lyk to have in dinnr my 6 months baby enfd alot great exprnc ......Pleased we made the houseboad stay

The condition of the rooms were very bad. Bed sheets, linens were dirty.Toilet was horrible. Ambience was very bad.Could not stay a single night but paid Rs, 9500/ advance whice was not repaid. Overall a horrible experience

I had experience with the bigger suit room, called honeymoon suit. It was spacious and clean. Bathroom also clean. But not like star level clean. I could able to find some dirt in the corners of the bathroom.It had 180 dregree view. It was a amazing experience. The manager vinoth, cook murugan, and the driver, baiah... Every one was dedicated and very responsible.You can buy fresh fish, they will cook for you without any added cost... But fish was costly than the local market... But it was in a acceptable limit.Timing was around 1pm to 9am.Crew members are very kind, good is very good. Clean and neat boat. Value for money...

Very bad service. Its owner ine Mr. Manoj cheated by getting cash from us. The payment was done for full time ac. But it was not given. The boat was stopped midway and it was informed that the diesel got over when the reason was enquired. I paid rupees 13000 for a single room. Besides that an extra 1500 was given for ac. Yet the service provided to me was not good when I asked for ac. I was answered that there was no diesal in the generater and again got cash from me. The food given was not of good standared. The fan, light etc were not working at night. The staff were reluctant to take up the luggage. Its better to choose another boat than to hire this one.

Let me start by mentioning the positive side of the things about houseboat...*Long post*1.Excellent House boat with beautiful and spacious sundeck2.Clean rooms and toilets3.We booked this houseboat by watching a YouTube video on Indiavacation channel and they gave us exactly same Private boat as shown in the video4.Manoj(owner) was very professional,customer friendly, polite and was very approachableThere is a list for negative feedback...1. Late pick up..we had to call Arun(I guess he is a head co-ordinator) twice to come n guide us to the boat and finally when he arrived...they had come in two wheeler and took our luggage but asked us to walk..dint arrange a auto rickshaw...We had our parents who aged around 50-55, pick up point was too far to walk..they were very tired by the time we reached the boat2. After sailing the boat for sometime.. everything was going fine...they said they will Dock the boat around 6 near a shopping area and also insisted for a body massage at near by ayurvedic center but as we were not interested we denied for body massage and things complety changed after that..staff were careless...no interest..also when it was 6 they dint stop near any shopping centre3. Food for lunch and dinner was average..we didnt find any authentic Kerala dishes and very less variety and also limited except for rice and dal(second time it was completely watery and was not tasty)4. Evening snacks was so limited that each one of us got only 2-3 aloo bajji and when asked for more they said its over... No authentic banana bajji5. As it was my cousins birthday we had requested Manoj(boathouse owner) and Arun to arrange a candle light setup for cake cut at 12(midnight) and also balloon decoration..we also kept reminding them till 6pm ...they said they will arrange everything on time but when it was 9:30pm... nothing was arranged and when asked...the crew members carelessly told that they couldnt arrange decorations and had only one candle with no match box..also they had arranged cake and took 200rp extra as service charge for cake6. AC facility was from 7pm only till next day 7am..there was some issues...I guess..with generator so power was fluctuating every half an hour approximately 3-4 times..by 9pm our AC got switched off...we thought issues might resolve and waited for an hour...we were sweating like hell as weather was very hot and dry...by 10pm we went and enquired.. infront of us he switched on a switch and our room AC got switched on immediately...and we also saw that crew member rooms AC was already working fine...this switching off and on of AC was a deliberate action...this made us intolerable7. Everytime we called Arun to discuss our issues about bad customer service...he would say..will call you back in few minutes and would never turn up...Manoj was the only one who would listen to our issues and would try to solve it/ compensate it immediatelyWe felt there was complete miscommunication between owner and crew members8. Next day morning they informed us that they would sail the boat at 7am but they delayed it by an hour9. No Hot water facility and no proper toiletriesIf I have taken time to write this detailed review then it means that we are truly disappointed and do not recommend this houseboat to anyoneIf you are opting for this houseboat please talk to Manoj and get everything double confirmed before boarding the boat and kindly follow upHope this helps!Thank you!

The spoiler for the entire trip in terms of money, time and experience. Utter wastage of the money. The aircondition is just for namesake. We had to beg to switch it on inspite of paying such a huge amount. You book a houseboat as a couple for privacy and these people put 5 families along with you on one boat. Salty water in the bathroom and the food options are extremely limited with below average taste. You get a royal experience in a luxurious hotel in the same money. Highly not recommended
