It is a govt run resort situated on the Ayodhya hill top of Purulia district. Very well maintained. Good staff. Adjacent ATM. Tasty food at low cost. Spacious well decorated garden with provisions of play for children. Car parking area. Rural simple Market place out side the resort... Everything is provided one needs out side home.

Nice place to stay, normal foods are available, staffs are so polite. Location is just awesome and a top of the hill. It has its own kitchen garden. The lawn is full of blooming flowers of all kinds. In winter the temperature is bit cold. The rooms are fitted with air-conditioning machines and geyser. Had a lovely stay.

I think this is the best place to stay in Ayodhya Pahar Hilltop. This place is so well maintained have a garden in their property and there is multiple guest houses in the same complex. Although the room was spacious and clean but the decoration is old fashioned. furniture for not that good all the rooms have TV and acs working properly. Prices reasonable and you will have a good stay there. they have their own kitchen but while we are there sum of other boarders keep saying that their food is not good hence who decided to to eat outside. On the very next day we ate breakfast in their kitchen and I think its average and prices definitely reasonable.

Nice place, if you dont compare with a hotel. Mind that its a government guest house. The property is well maintained as compared to the room ambiance. But the staff is quite good, including their food service. Maintain a decency of the place along with the native simple village people, and you will surely love the place.

Loved this Govt Lodge. We did not stayed there but had our lunch there, good and tasty food with very reasonable price. Its located exactly on hill-top, best place in Ayodhya Hill. Ample parking space.

The place is very nice with beautiful garden, rooms are big and comfortable but the washroom are not clean and not maintained. There was electricity issue but generator was always available. The food is quite good.

Not a very good to stay in winter but this is the best to stay there mainly its safe. I have seen a military base camp inside the premises. Food quality good,all vegetables are from there own farm.

Probably The Best Place to stay at Ayoddha hills. It has several things inside the area. Beautiful garden, lots of butterflies, agricultural sector, where they grow the crops themselves! Food is fresh, quality is good.. Clean, reasonable price, can be termed as low priced good place to stay. Located at a good place. Nice surroundings!

If you are going to Purulia for a short tour then you must try booking it at first especially if you are looking for some budget hotels. The place is simply awesome. The tariff of the rooms are also very lesser than some other private hotels. The only problem is that you have to book the hotels from their office at RSM Square, Kolkata.The place is very well maintained. A beautiful garden in front of the hotel premises adds beauty to the place. They keep the place very clean. Fooding is also available at cheap rate. You have to try to book the rooms atleast 3 months before your visit.

Not so good....Room is not at par compare to other Government tourist lodge like Bishnupur. There was 💧 scarcity which is not expected. Anyone who likes garden like Niharika Do walk in into Botanical and enjoy.

This is under West Bengal Comprehensive Area Development Corporation (WBCADC). Booking is taken from Kolkata or in the Resort itself. Stay is ok but room service is not good or there is no room service at all if you stay in thr adjacent building (we were in Malabika). Food is ok and not pricy.

Enormous compound with Niharika, Balaka, Malabika and Bibhabari, along with farm, mini zoo, kids area and garden. I stayed in a Suite in Niharika and it is in excellent condition, with a bed room, sitting room, dressing area and aquarium. Food is tasty and cheap. Downsides are: less food variety, room service is non existent (we had go to the kitchen and get our water from aquaguard ourselves)

Go for AC rooms only.....

We are staying at Malabika on 30th March 2019.room no 31,26,11,32..No service at all.They didnt tell us that we should bring Xerox copy of Id proof,When we submitting the original Id proof, they are chargeing rs. 3/- for each copy of Xerox.They are not even provide drinking water in the Room.Restaurant service at Niharika is also very bad.You should give order after lunch for dinner (menu roti, tarka and alurdom). If you asked them for extra plate of alurdom, you will not get that..Unprofessional peoples are sitting here.

It is a Govt. Property run by CAD P&RD Govt. Of W.B. online booking is not possible. Its a nice place to stay at Ajodhya hill top. Niharika, Bibhabari cottages are there with A.C. and non ac rooms. Food quality is good. There is a large garden with sitting arrangement. Open dining area is excellent. Car service for sight seen is available here. Nice place for 1-2 days stay.

Very good food and homely atmosphere

We have just visited the place last week. Very nice environment inside the hotel area and peaceful. But their major problem is food which is not at all good to taste. 1st day we had to take meal from there only as we didnt find any resturares outside the hotel. Though Staffs are very cooperative , they had tried their best as per our requirement but very sorry to say that the food was horrible. 2nd day we found out a hotel just beside niharika, a small mud house type hotel called Jamai Hotel. Very tasty and delicious food , well mannered staffs , we were really happy to get that.I would recommend everyone if you visit Ayodhya Hills stay in Niharika/ Malabika but dont take meal from there. You can have your breakfast there but for lunch and dinner you can go to Jamai Hotel. It would be the best idea.

One of the best hotel on ajodhya hill top, just beside the upper dam, this hotel is decorated with natural beauty, all types of foods are available there and all faciality, there are three building like niharika, malabika and bivabori, and another Irctc building also available, one of the best hotel for adults and children, newly married couple and oldest couple also, there is a dining room for eating together and another eating places into the open sky, there is only one problem that is, the drinking water you have to collect for your own requirements from the kitchen and eating area. AC faciality is available, rooms are good in condition , and bathrooms are fantastic with bathtub and hot water machine faciality.
