I have been a regular visitor at Shirley since past 9 years. Must say it is a long time for someone to stick loyally to a single beauty salon. It is not that I have not tried the services at other high end as well as medium range salons. Since past four five years a number of big names have entered the Ahmedabad market and we as customers have got s huge range of choices. Hence once in a while one is tempted to try a new place or service, but honestly speaking I just cannot settle with anybody else. If it is a facial then no other than Shirley. If it is a pedicure and manicure it has to be Shirley. These are the three major services for which I am a regular at this Salon and every single time I go back with a huge feeling of gratification. The ambience is also very peaceful, highly clean and hygienic and very well laid out. All the girls are very well trained, welcoming and highly professional and silently go on about their work and give you the best and prompt services. The rates are also very appropriate giving you value for money. My personal favourites are Mary and Sharon although others like Soring, Elsa and Esther etc are also really good. Mostly North-East Indian staff recruits who are doing a fab job. I would recommend anybody reading this review to go for either their Gold or Diamond facial once and I promise you will be hooked.

To say that I was disappointed by their service would be an understatement. It is my misfortune that I chose to get their Bridal MakeUp & Saree draping package for my own wedding day. I chose it because my sister had used the same service a decade ago from Shirley and came out looking like the queen she is, only more gorgeous. But since then the entire staff of Shirley has been changed atleast thrice. This new batch is the absolute worst. I came in for a 2:30 appointment and my make up was done twice and removed twice because it was horrible, which they also acknowledged. I was told that it was so layered up and cakey because my skin is very very dry. While I understand that my skin is no alabaster, it is the job of an MUA to highlight and accentuate the positives and minimize the negatives. The third time they applied my makeup it was still disastrous but I had to go forward with it as it was already 4pm and I had to reach the venue at 5pm. They put so much concealer (which they insisted was absolutely required) that my mom and cousins rubbed off layers with tissue when I reached the venue. I was almost in tears but thankfully my parents and family came to my rescue and redid my makeup on the spot. I wanted a Bengali bride chandan design application on the forehead, and they did not have it. I was assured beforehand that they had all the equipment they needed, they made the ugliest design with stickon bindis, it was disgusting. Please mention if you do not have the required makeup, so the client can procure their own for you. To top it all off, they were constantly cracking jokes and belittling me in their own native language. Such horrible and rude service for the price of 10,500 Rupees. I know money is no matter for a milestone moment, but if you are going to do such a pathetic job please charge accordingly. Or just shut shop. I will never come back to this place and I will strongly recommend against it to everyone I meet. You are the absolute worst beauty parlour I have ever been to in my 29 years of life. Once again, you should shut shop.

A great place where i dnt have to worry about the quality of services. The staff is alwayS very friendly and they cater our needs carefully which provides a satisfying experience

Best salon in ahmedabad...even during corona its safe..they sanitize us before enter and very helpful staff also salon is very neat n clean...all staff members are good by nature....all are polite by nature as well

I have visited a lot of salons in delhi, NCR, UP,Haryana Punjab and Bangalore I have even called home services but by far this salon is the best . The services given by this salon cannot be compared. I miss getting all the services done here in Shirley’s.Be it from manicure-pedicure to highlights to literally every service available it’s class apart I would recommend once u get anything done here u can never get the finesse in any other salon plus they give free blow dry after a haircut/hair spa which I literally had to fight for at all the other salons and they also apply free nail paint after a manicure/pedicure so yes they are excellent service at very reasonable price❤️❤️❤️

For eye Brow I use to prefer it the most from last 2 years. But here one lady Meena made my eye brow too thin. Very disappointed. Not given proper shape.

Worst beauty parlour in ahmedabad. The owner has handed it over to her inexperienced , rude and dumb daughters. They insisted that i get bridal make up done for a simple evening party as the party make up would be very light. I told them repeatedly to not bother about it and just get it done as i am the one who would decide what package i want to take. After arguing for half an hour where thy whr conversing amongst themselves in their north eartern language they decided that it wont be possible for them to go ahead with it. I asked them to show me sample of any make up they hd done which they refused to show. Every time my friends have gone there thy have been pushed and coaxed to buy expensive packages stating tht the cheaper ones dont get good results. My question is , if ur cheap pckage dsnot give results then why did u keep it in the first place. I have even heard that the owner ‘buys’ girls from poor north eastern vilages and makes them work here without given them the promised salaries and other compensations. My advice - please stay away from this prlour.

Very bad experience, do not go there for any hair colour job.... they are not experts very basic local knowledge about haircolour but they charge like branded saloon. Definitely would not suggest until and unless you want the typical jobs done....

Had the worst experience ever the women who manages it doesnt even know how to treat a customer she actually told us to go home & said no to provide the service only because we were 10 mins late because of traffic & only because of some other customer who works in a office and cant wait 2 mins also till we can get our eye brows done

I had the worst experience of my life. Though I had an appointment I had to wait for 1.5 hours for my turn to come.The staff surely needs training for haircutting. I would recommend people to not go to Shirley ever.

Shirley parlour @gurukul i had trust on name & tried hair cut.it was not at all a good hair cut & i whould suggest dont try.we had gently gave the feedback but they arrogantly behave as we did payment before feedback & It was terrible treatment from staff they dont know how to talk with customer.

I had my worst experience by getting my haircut in Shirley Beauty Salon, Bodakdev. The staff does not even know how to do trimming and cut my hairs too carelessly. Also the behaviour of staff is not good.
