Tried their Chicken friend rice and Huami Prawns..Prawns were good and fresh but chicken rice is not impresive as it tasted like a typical indian fried rice , very less quantity of chicken as well. Mango Pudding was average.

Good was ok, beside very small chunks of chicken as of me getting free feed, felt too pricy for few small chunks of chicken which gave me feeling of either I was eating exotic food or I was eating last chicken left on earth hahahaha, it was none of that beside too high in price and didn’t found it was worth money!

Great place for good sea/non veg food. It is not authentic Chinese but it tastes awesome! Had Lobster and Fish, was amazing. The rice/singapore noodles are a must try. Pair it with orange juice mock tail..FYI: few annoying people in suites who take order will keep insisting you to order expensive dishes telling you that its good. Shut them up and order what you like!

Best authentic Chinese food in the heart of Ahmedabad. As usual mainland China kept up their brand name with the perfect ambience and highly efficient crew. The staff knew exactly what they were talking about and gave their recommendations as well. The food was extremely delicious and cooked to perfection. The only downside was with the seafood we ordered. The prawns and the fish tasted a tad bit stale. I guess that’s a general problem with Ahmedabad and not the fault of the restaurant staff. Overall, if you’re craving Chinese food, and would like to avoid burning a hole in you’re pocket, this is the place to be.

If real Chinese cuisine excites you, this is one of the best places in ahmedabad. Do not expect the roadside Chinese flavour as some items may be really blanch, even items like hot and sour soup. They have maintained the simplicity of real Chinese cuisine and the ambience as well(music, statues and trinkets)

Located in 4th floor of gulmohar mall, mainland China is one of the few places in Ahmedabad that serves authentic Chinese. The place has been designed beautifully so as to give an authentic look. The artifacts and sculptures used also give the place an authentic look.We had opted for an unlimited meal. Priced moderately at 349 for Veg Meal we were served :Hot and sour soup : Really thick and balanced on taste. This one was literally to die for. Have not seen many places serving such delicious hot and sour soup in town. 5/5Black pepper tossed Tofu : A delight for tofu lovers. We enjoyed the taste. 4/5Hakka noodles : This one had the least amount of sauces and thats what made it really tasty. The noodles were soft and veggies absolutely crunchy. 5/5Ginger fried rice : Yet another dish with least sauces and perfect taste. Surely a delight for those who love authentic taste. 4/5Veggies in mix sauce : While this one was surely tasty and went well with fired rice, we found this one a bit spicy. It surely went well with rice which was a bit bland. 3/5Crispy honey chilli noodles with vanila icecream : Yet another authentic dish, might not go well with everyone but we enjoyed the taste. 4/5The option turned out to be a reall value for money. Would surely recommend this one to many.

I had a good experience with my colleagues at Mainland China. Good ambiance, average food. The treasure soup in starter was really tasty.

Absoultely love this place for their food, hospitality and decor. They save awesome and authentic chinese food which makes this my favourite place. We sampled quite a few dishes ala carte and then their buffet. Ecery single dish is delicious and their weekend buffet lunch has some great variety. Non vegetarians would love this place especially for their variety. We also went for their unlimited fixed menu lunch on thw weekdays which is a complete value for money deal. A must visit for all foodies.

A perfect Oriental ambience and authentic Chinese food.

They have Authentic chinese taste in their cuisines. Their food quality and quantity both are good. The everage food cost would be approx 900-1000 for 2 people.

Soup was too sour. Do not order hot and sour soup. The taste was too tangy.

Great place to have good authentic chinese cuisine with a matching south east asian ambience and decor. You can try your hand with chopsticks too. It adds to the experience. Mocktails are refreshing as well. Quality and quantity of the dishes are perfect. The staff is helpful and courteous. Prices are reasonable. Must visit for authentic chinese dishes.

Awesome Food !!! . The staffs here were well known with the menu.The Chinese food I ordered for was really authentic. Also , this restaurant has a good variety of beverage to offer.We had a wide range of items and all of them were superb!

Would give it 4 and a half stars. One of the best Chinese food in Ahmedabad. Do ask them for the desert menu you will love it. They provide chop sticks only on demand. Skip the soup if you can.

I have always returned to Mainland China for simply food and nothing else. Their service was never really worthy of comment. However, this last visit was the other way round. The food is okay (definitely not worth the prices anymore), the menu is fairly limited but the service was good for a change. I believe their Chef has changed recently. Way recommend giving a miss to seafood, if you happen to be here.

Good Food

It’s amazing place with authentic food. The quality of the food was up to the mark. The quantity was also sufficient. We tried three dishes all were amazing. The staff was also very humble & warm at welcoming. Loved it.

The food here is simply amazing. Mr Raj made us feel very welcomed and gave us interesting suggestions. I suggest buckwheat noodles for all. Its healthy and tasty. It was my fathers birthday the day we went, and they also served a small brownie cake, which was very tasty and made the experience memorable. It was a nice time at mainland China. one thing which I could change about the place was lighting. The lighting was a bit dull and since I like brightly lit places, I would add more lights.

Ohhh the food served here is awesome😋😋😋😍 the preparation of prawns is so juicy , the boneless part of he chicken is also tender and moist. Fish gravy is also well made.Starters either veg or non veg are also delicious, especially crispy veges .

Value for money proposition. Went for a team lunch. We had fun experimenting with Chop sticks. Their set menus are a fun alternative to no frills food.

Absolutely wonderful and mouth watering food. One must try the authentic jasmine tea, it was simply delicious and healthy too. The khimchi too was very good.The staff was efficiently handling everything. Though it was a bit crowded due to valentines day, still the staff managed to give a good service to almost every one there.

Love this place, you get authentic Chinese with a sip of Chinese tea. Pan fried noodles are our favourite, one must try it. If you love Chinese, you will be delighted to have discovered it.

Very good ambience but the quality of Chinese fried rice and noodles are not good. Nothing Chinese about it, just plain rice and some egg, hardly any chicken, and that typical smell was also not there. Serving was fine and fairly quick. Price is high for the quality of food.

Good taste for Chinese food but water bottle is very costly.

This by far has been my worst experience at Mainland China. The service was bad. The food was pathetic. The chicken we were served was smelling stale and had terrible after taste. The sauce it was served in tasted like tomato ketchup.We brought it to the notice of the manager on duty, but he refused to acknowledge the fact and denied that anything was wrong. We definitely will not be returning back for a meal or even recommend it henceforth to anyone.

I am a Chinese (chinesh) food lover like the half of the world but unfortunately not many restaurants cater to my taste buds when it comes to the authenticity of its taste-in Ahmedabad- the hub of Only Veg restaurants...I have visited this chain in many places in the country and in absence of a better known option I visited here 2 days back. The ambiance, spoons , plates etc etc are obviously good. The food is way way way much better than many places which I have experimented. Yes, what they can improve upon is food presentation and style, it really matters esp when the visual effects of most of the Chinese items are not very appealing. Quantity is good for two (medium hungry) people. Needless to say its pricey but definitely wont burn a larger hole in your pocket than what others charge!

We went for buffet which had 1 soup, 2/3 starters, 3 main course, noodles and fried rice, desert and happy staff serving us at their best.I have been this place many time for their truly Chinese dishes. Place is good for groups too.Parking is available under Gulmahor malls basement free of charge.

Visited Mainland China on new year Eve. The arrangement was quite good. The loveliest part of the dinner was the food. All foods ordered were so awesome that we were dumbstruck. It was Delicious, not at all expected. Though the food was slightly expensive, but quite worth it. Definitely recommended

One of the best and improving Chinese restaurant, though it mainly serves Thai food. The staff is very well trained, knowledgeable, respectful and humble. I can surely pay a visit every month for lobster and pina colada. One who like mushrooms, should surely go here as various variety of it is available. Ambiance is great!! 6 stars if I had a choice.

The food served here is really amazing! A definitely go to place for Chinese cuisine. They also have buffet on Sundays which is pretty good.

We usually go for lunch buffet. Choice of menu is good, taste is good. Must try mustard sauce with starter. Veg in basil sauce is too good. They can add something in desserts.

With so many visits to Mainland that it almost feels like home. Love the A la carte menu and some of the dishes are my absolute favourite! By now, I think most of the staff knows me and I do get the advantage of their attention!

This has always been a good place for dinner and had maintained its ambience as well as its classic dishes. Some of the good ones are the crispy corn and the the sizzling spinach. Its chili garlic noodles are also amazing.

Had buffet here. Food was delicious. My only complaint is the number of items in the buffet was lesser than expected. My favorite items were the chicken preparations and the caramel pudding in desert.

Here they have good spread of buffet. We went for lunch here. The vegetarian and non-vegetarian buffet, both options are at the same price. The boneless fish and prawns preparation was too good. They also serve mocktail alongwith. The soup and starters are served on the table.

The quality has deteriorated a lot.i am visiting after ages and dont see the same quality which it was earlier when it started new. The soup was hell lot salty and pungent due to lemon. The chicken too I didnt find well prepared. The staff was courteous to change my dish however that shouldnt be the case. Plz this is my favorite destination for Chinese plz dont put urself down.
