Why would they charge so heavily for so congested rooms. The size of the bed is like it ends before it begins. Property might be great, but most rooms are worse than 2 star category.Hotel staff might not be rude, but they are very cold and blunt. The staff courtesy and behavior doesnt match the price they charge.Wish I had saved my money staying at some other property.

I had been to this place for inquiring about their banquet and lawn. The hotel ambience is good BUT the staff is not very helpful. I sat for like 20 minutes but no one came to show me the banquet and lawn. After 20 minutes, I went to the reception and asked and they told Actually there is no sales person today. You could have told it earlier right? Why made me wait 20 minutes...!!!!

Our stay was comfortable, the rooms were clean, the food was good and the staff was very courteous. The hotel is located in one of the busiest areas of the city, with the shopping mall on one side and a small amusement park on the other, it has everything one might look for while on a mini holiday.Although it isnt a big deal, there is quite a bit of paper work for contact-free check in, it will be safer and more hassle free if they try to make all the form filling digital prior to check-in.

Ambience is good but only Japanese food available and other food they close quite early. If they add variety food it would be better I feel as Japanese food lovers would be less

Horrible pool maintenance, the staff is courteous but not active and very helping. The pool was full of fungus/moss and we were told that it is operational and so went in for a dip but then noticed that all the walls were full of fungus. We informed the front desk but no action was taken . We then spoke to the manager who was giving us lame excuses and requested him to shut the pool. We wrote a formal email to the customer care services and still haven’t received any response. This is something that we never expected from Hyatt and so were very disappointed with are stay.

Pls dont go with the name. The staff is not friendly to all. They give importance only to the marriage or other party bookings more. The valet asked us to park the car because he was busy, what a customer service?? We checked out on the next day. Staff at the reception hardly smiles, it is so important to be warm and welcoming to the customers, it is hospitality business?? How can you not smile??

Good things first - Staff is courteous and the restaurant breakfast and dinner spreads are nice. Gym is well equipped, swimming pool was clean and okay in size.And yes, its located in a shopping mall, so no dearth of entertainment.Now comes the realityIts more of a lodge and really surprised this property managed a HYATT tag. The rooms are very small, I reckon the budget hotel rooms are bigger.We had mosquito nets in our room.The air conditioning wasnt working and beds are too small. The photographs of the rooms are misleading.The washrooms are zig zag its like a balcony converted into a washroom. The electrical switches desperately need a replacement.Housekeeping desperately needs improvement.The security staff need to be trained on common courtesy and Checkin counters need to be in proportion to number of rooms.

Great place as expected, but theres no view from the entire hotel. Even the garden area is pretty compact and doesnt allow sitting or a comfortable walking space.

IS HYATT AHMEDABAD REALLY 5 STAR?Check for your self.This is possibly the Worst Hotel to stay at in Ahmedabad. We checked in here for 2 Nights and were regretting our decision almost within hours of checking in. Pathetic Management, Service Issues, Poor Food Quality, Rooms are not maintained at all. To top it all, the Staff is unapologetic for the issues and shamelessly ignoring complaints. Even the GM (named Saha or Sahu something) was unresponsive and didnt even cared.Below are the issues we faced1. Upon Checking In, room had Lighting Panel issues due to which the lights were flickering and making weird noise. When we called Room Service for the same, an electrician was sent for after 25-30 mins and he informed us that the Automation panel was causing the issues and suggested replacing the same. He came back after almost another 30 mins and replaced the same upon atleast 3 reminders. All the electrical fixtures(plugs) were too old and blocked, it eneded up us asking for an extension which too was faulty and only one plug was working. Exactly what you expect from a 5 Star Hotel.2. We asked for some Tea & Coffee in the evening around 5.30 and after repeated reminders and calls to Inroom dining team, the same did not arrive till 7.00PM. Around 7.15 finally the tea arrived but without spoons and Stirrer for Coffee. Already fed up with the delays, we did not have energy left to ask for spoons and made peace with whatever was available.3. We hoped this was all but the next day we went to the swimming pool at 08.30AM and were informed thr official timings for pool were 09.00AM to 07.30PM so we went around 11.00AM hoping pool to be ready however the staff shamelessly told us it would take another half an hour to 45 mins as pool was being cleaned but upon asking why it was not done earlier, he told us it will be done within 10 mins. And they have swimsuit compulsory policy which is written no where and there is no one to inform or guide you. Later when we got into the pool and spent around 30-35 mins in pool, The Manager approached us and asked us if we could leave the pool as some cleaning was to be done. When we asked him to do it later as it was not the closing time/break time and we were leaving in 30 minutes, he did not bother and got the cleaning work started even though we were in the pool at the time. No respect for Privacy and Hygiene. Fedup we got out of pool, and still no shame and apologies.4. Bathrooms were not having sufficient toiletries and when asked for, House keeping wont sent them for hours. We needed an extra bed which we had informed prior to aur arrival and when we asked for it to be kept in our room at 11.30 in night, the same was not brought before 01.00AM and that too after several calls and reminders.5. Upon checkout the Valet Service was pathetic. We waited for almost 20 mimutes before our car could be identified and brought to us. They werent able to manage rushtime and kept on giving lame excuses for delays.The list is very long. I had booked for a guest visiting from USA, well in advance. Told them that he would arrive at around 4 am on a particular date. The guest got delayed in custom and reached around 5 am. By that time, Hyatt sent an email of cancellation of reservation... Amazing.. However, the guest was given a room with fresh booking. When he checked into the room - the sink of the toilet ws blocked. The reception area of the hotel is too small and a very few seats to accomodate guests.

As a person who has traveled half the world, I think I can confidently say that my stay at Hyatt Ahmedabad was the Worst stay of my life.Lets begin from the beggining, While we were checking in at Hyatt, There was no bell boy to carry your luggage we had to do it ourselves. There were 6 lifts, 3 on one side, 3 on the other. The staff could have told us that the lift 4.5 and 6 were more accessible to our room but they didnt .When we checked in the room, it seemed pretty Decent then we pulled the curtains abd there was this pathetic view of an under constructed building and this view was not for standard room, we got this view for Club king room even after mentioning that we needed a room with a good view. The mini bar of the room and the blinds of the bathroom were not working, we called the maintenance and the staff didnt send anyone until I had to go myself and being someone to fix it. We ordered a cup of Masala chai with milk, it tasted like water it was terrible and they gave us 2 small sugar sachet for 2 cups of tea and it took them 25 mins to just prepare the tea.Now comes the Dinner, the buffet dinner at Collage looked impressive ( it wasnt ) There were a number of international cuisines that weve tried before, so we tried them again and it was pathetic, not edible. Then we tried the Indian cuisines. The potato curry was literally uncooked, the potato was raw and the curry was tasteless no salt no chilly nothing! Same goes for Panner too. it was tasteless. Finally we had to eat Rice and Curry, that too was saltless and tasteless! We asked for salt but apparently the staff was so busy with some personal event that there was no one to help the people In dinner buffet! The night was descent. The next morning, we went fur breakfast at collage, again saltless and tasteless food. This time the staff was a little attentive ( atleast we thought they were) There was an old couple next to our table, they werent able to communicate in English so the women who was serving them just turned her face on them . This clearly says, that Hyatt will only give service to those who are capable of speaking English. Then we went to the pool. This hotel literally needs a map not because its big , it requires a map because there are no signs anywhere in this hotel to guide you. When we came back to the room,the shaving mirror malfunctioned. The carpet in the lobby was torn off. staff was wearing masks but none of them briefed any guests on wearing masks or following covid 19 protocols . The pool was dirty and there was no kids pool. My son was very disappointed because kids pool was promised to us. The best part of it all was the Checkout, atleast we were free!!This hotel is rated 5 star, but trust me its or even 2 Star. Bad food, Bad Service makes this hotel one of the worst 5 stars In Ahmedabad. Weve stayed at a number of 5 stars but none of them disappointed us the way this hotel did. At the time of Check out I just wished that I had booked Radisson or Tai instead of this GREAT HOTEL.The great staff which this hotel promises is just a bunch of irritated individuals.Staying at Hyatt was an experiment And it turned out to be really bad. But as they say , you learn from your mistakes Ill learn from this one and Ill make sure That none of my family member or anyone I know stays at this hotel. Just good decor and ambience does not make you a good hotel. Your service does and you have failed in this department Hyatt.Please everyone dont go on decor and ambience, youll regret your stay, Stay at Taj or Radisson or Fern for the same price. They are much much better than this.Hyatt management I wish you would work on your issues.

Good hotel to stay, staff is less competent so they will say no for everything you asked for. Not so customer freindly staff. Not customer oriented behaviour, sometimes they make you feel you have done a mistake choosing the Hyatt Vastrapur and you are being stuck inside walls of hotel, very short menu. Overall OK but not upto the mark of Hyatt brand name.

This review is for the liquor store.Terrible place. They make you stand in the heat outside if there are two people in the store. Once inside they question you like you are committing a crime. The young man at the counter is arrogant and rude.The wines are behind the counter so you cant browse on your own.They have lots of whiskies and nothing else. I couldnt even get a decent beer, all they had was tuborg.Avoid this place unless you want to waste your units on substandard liquor.

Excellent experience at Hyatt Ahmedabad. We Booked 6 rooms for our family. Location is in heart of city.My experience of check in, room service, house keeping, restaurant and check out was awesome. Staff response time is too quick.I was alloted room where room light was too low. They responded quickly to my complaint and alloted me another room.Food was awesome in restaurant. I was in more interaction with restaurant staff. All were on their toes to serve everyone. Still I can recall Ankit, who helped us immaculately.

The food was very tastyWe loved it.Visited for my wifes birthday... We had not done the reservation..
