One of the oldest and the best for tasty kathiyawadi thali. They serve Gujarati thali too. The taste has remained consistent through more than 2 decades that I have been eating here. Never fails to satisfy.

Nice food. No-spicy authentic taste, wonderful hosting by the servers (they are not waiters). In the end you get freshly roasted sova. A real nice touch.

If you are looking for proper gujrati thali, this place is not up to the mark.People expect variety of food like welcome drink, chaat item, daal bati, varieties of curries/darsan/sweet. But here they give only one sweet and two farsan only. Still they charge 330/- per unlimited thali.I suggest to explore other places like Gordhan thaal, grand thakar etc where they charge 350/- but it would be far far better than this.This review is for outlet in Paldi area.

I recommend to go for fix thali if you HV average appetite as the quantity in fix thali is more than enough for one person.Rates are reasonable. Food is tasty but if we compare to other dining halls of western part of Ahmedabad, its Okay ish.Service, cleanliness and ambiance is good.

Taken fixed Gujrati thali there. The staff there more interested in getting tip. They wont explain you what items you can get a second servings and had to wait for their mercy in getting a fill of dal etc. Concept is good. Can be much better.

Quality of food and service is excellent. But the food is very very heavy. Heavy to the extent that it is nauseating for a normal light eating person. Not for a person without the Local taste (Gujrati).

The service staff are very attentive and you dont need to call them. The service is great, they keep serving you until you are full to the brim. The taste of the food is great, ambiance is good, the appetizers are awesome and you are half full when they serve you the meal. We were so full that we decided to walk back to our hotel room. The pricing is good and the serve you a mineral water bottle each.

AlsoAfter settling the bill the staff purposely keep the folder open which are full of loose return currency notes.
