A little slow, but they wont disappoint you. In comparison from other SMCs it is still doing well. Most of the time they do reply your calls and emails.

Professionally very bad experience from my side... The people work there is not up to the mark.... As usual whenever some official work its really bad experience for me to go there

Can not contact them, all phone numbers given on site are either switched off or does not exist. site shows server failed all the time. please stop wasting public time and money and take some responsibility.

I did not hv a document ..they allowed to send it by courier...in my home state of Karnataka they would hv flat rejected...speed of process can be made better

Very pathetic people, contact number is always busy seems it picked up aside. mobile number given on site is never picking up and even once they do asks to recall after 5-10 min and then phone will be switched off ! and this is happening since past 2 weeks with me! what kind of government body is this? they are doing online certificates nowadays but after applying waiting for the certy since 1 month no one is responding even mails, calls... not able to understand what they are doing! IF YOU DONT WANT TO RESPOND CALLS AND EMAILS PLEASE DONT MENTION IN SITE IN CONTACT US SECTION!

GUJARAT MEDICAL COUNCIL, BESIDES NURSING HOSTEL IN BJ MEDICAL COLLEGE ASARWA, AHMEDABAD,... TAKE THE ROAD OPPOSITE TO CANCER HOSPITAL TO REACH THE NURSING HOSTEL THEN 1ST RIGHT.... DENTAL, MEDICAL, NURSING, HOMEOPATHY, PHARMACY REGISTERATIONS FOR PRACTICING IN GUJARAT STATE DONE HERE.

The staff is very helpful and kind, the place is maintained well, and procedures are swift and systematic.

This place is disaster. Most pathetic place i have ever seen. No one helps here and treating the doctors very badly. They never pick up the phone calls when you try contacting. You may have to go there 3-4 times to complete your small work. Online system is also not working properly

Worst response to foreign medical graduates they never pick up the call they never solve any querries basic questions are not answer always retaliating wasting Time to come back again

For medical, paramedical, nursing registration at civil hospital building is located inside campus, near nursing hostel.

Working very slowly. Disappointed, no parking. Parking is very far from department office. System should change parking system. They should do open 6 days week for nursing council for other state students education instead of Tuesday and Thursday. And no proper facility in this building as well as. No bathroom washroom for womens and mens. Floor lift also not working properly.

It is one of the very important buildings for all the medical students of the Gujarat state.every medical student after completing his or her medical degree should have to come here and registered year degree so that they are eligible for the general practice.situated near the gate number 5 of civil hospital Ahmedabad commonly known as the red building of medical council.There are three other council office also present here like homeopath council ayurved councile etc.In in my opinion this building needs renovation very urgently.working facility and way of working of the workers and the registration process is very good and you can come here and complete your wholwork within one day

Its a must place for all Gujarat medical students has to visit and register themselves to practice in Gujarat. All the staff are cooperative. But since there are no signs, one may find it difficult to locate it.

1. Online services are really good.2. Staff at the office is helpful and responsive (by standards of government clerical / administrative services in India!).3. Transparent in their working.4. Example of good service: Had a doubt, so had called up on the number provided on the web site, and a lady actually picked up the call (something I cant say about the phone numbers of Maharastra Medical Council, where my call was received only once out of attempts on 5 different occasions). She was also helpful enough to ask me to call up later if my problem persisted.5. Couldnt figure out if there was a washroom nearby. Might sound important, but it needs to be borne in mind that lot of people reaching here travel from outside Ahmedabad, and might also have to wait for a few hours. But then, cant blame GMC per se. 🙂Overall, very satisfied and impressed with the meticulousness of service, and professional attitude of staff members.

People are helpful here

Very hard to find this place in the huge campus of B.J.Medical College. It is located along with councils of other branches like dental homeopath and Unani. Facilities for seating/waiting arent there. You have to wait outside in the corridor. Typical government offices scenario can be felt by going here.
