Great place to visit to have darshan of all the prasadi items used by Lord Swaminarayan. You get to know a lot of history and experience the same. Must visit with family to get in touch with our culture. To takes approximately 3-4 hrs to have proper darshan of all the prasadi items.

Its very beautiful, pleasant and extraordinary calming experience, at first visit. Being believers of Swaminarayan Kalupur one family function arranged keeping in mind of serenity, easy to access for elderly, parking space, simple healthy food, and most importantly under roof of Bhgvan Swaminarayan. An experienced being worsen when the function day, parking person has started argument on parking car at told place (in completely vacant parking), well its been followed but driver door was unable to open. its been demonstrated to him driver door has no place to open there is a tree near but he has no patinece to listen. He was so elderly it was unfair arguing with him. At his age i can understand his mental state working at parking area. Well we have kept huge patience to make him understand, he spolied mood and was wishing he should not behave same with our guests, but he argued with most of my guests. Its utterly disappointing, its enough reason, to spoil occasion, I will avoid venue for this only reason since its carrying first impression very pathetic and negativity was all around. well Important point, DRAWING OF PARKING LINES ARE NOT PRACTICAL, THERE IS NO ENOUGH SPACE FOR ONE CAR PARKING IN SOME AREA. Needs to be revised, hence argument and negativity can be avoided at such pious and divine premise. Prasadam (food) was excellent Chef Shree Durgaprasadji is highly recommended and appreciated. He is very good host, polite chef and very respectable person. Must try his btatawada, gulab jamun and mohan thal.

He voluntarily retired from the Acharyaship to personally supervise the museum to its completion and dedicate time in ample measure to His precious vision. These painstaking measures have resulted in a serene edifice that stands testimony to the vision devoted to conserving Bhagwan Shree Swaminarayans personal effects/belongings and extending their spiritually benevolent aura to anyone who might visit the monumental museum. The museum, located on a sprawling campus of 25,000 m2 at Naranpura, Ahmedabad, has come up under the auspices of the Swaminarayan Mandir, Kalupur. This is a campus of a profound aesthetic, architectural, and spiritual amalgam. The management of the museum intends to ensure that the museum retains its raison dêtre and grows manifold in fame and splendour. Proceeds from Shri TejendraPrasadji Maharajs 60th birthday were, under His insistence, dedicated to this project. His wish has been complied with. However, this being a small amount as compared to the sheer enormity of the project, it is expected that followers will donate generously, and Shri TejendraPrasadji Maharaj hopes that people will come forward to make a resounding success of the project.

My mairrage dining was arranged here. This place is not just for spending 1 hour . If its a rush then even 3 hours is minimum.the architecture is beautiful than anything. Seriously the staff and the people working there are so kind and helpful. This place would strengthen your believe over god and would attract you towards his worship. It was a quite hour when i went although the arrangements were such that it can handle a large crowd. Its a highly recommended place if you are in ahemdabad then spending quality time here is a good choice as per my opinion. I had a great day here so i recommend it.

As all Swaminarayan facilities are famous for......This too is a beautiful religious precinct. Well designed and nicely maintained. Food is very hygienic and tasty. The museum along with the temple exhibits the original artifacts from the time Lord Swaminarayan. One might need 4 to 5 hours to completely visit the facility.
