The place is delight for all the connoisseurs of the art as a whole entity..Truely a brilliant and well organised place and making it totally the place worth being !!The name itself actually suggests that it is a place where one can I real look and dump their ideas and keep experimenting and recycle all the things that has ever came into the mind !!!Really great place to visit !!!

This is what city of Ahmedabad already has but I realised it only upon visit. I always wanted something like this in our city, so glad to have visited this place finally.

Scrapyard - The Theatre is an open space for theatre artists & lovers. It is a space created by a performer himself, Sir Kabir Thakore.Ahmedabad has very few such spaces & Scrapyard is standing tall in between them. The name scrapyard itself depicts the philosophy behind the space. It makes us realise that even the scrap in our backyard is useful if we want to make it such.The destination for theatre artists & theatre lovers in Ahmedabad!

We did a battle performances from our Academy here.Ambience is amazing. Out of the box. You can conduct multiple things like workshops, theatre shows, dance shows etc. Around 120 audience can be manageable.Note that it is a theatre not any hall or auditorium. Best part is the shower water for hot seasion.ConsParking issues but manageable.

Most happening place for art lover. Society need such kind of more place.

Place is nice.... Though interior.... But with Google maps, one can easily find it.... Scrapyard is located backside of a house... 50 people can easily accommodate... Mainly for theatre people performing plays, arts, sometimes giving social message.Backside you can even hear 2-3 peacocks voice....

Really a nice open theatre 🎭 with capacity of 100-125 people, which is made of scrap items.

Place is very small.. there can be seated max to max 20 30 people comfortably.. no fans, no any another good amenities to sit there 1 or 2 hours even.. its an open ambience.

Recently watched the Midsummer nights dream at the Scrapyard theatre! Amazing Gujarati romantic musical, great work by the cast, director, music composer.. Kudos to their efforts and all the best to everyone in the theatre group... Keep entertaining guys❤️

I had an amazing time at the scrapyard theatre. The show was amazing. The place is very cozy and comfortable for a good number of audience. They definitely bring good plays and it is a place worth going for a play. For the performers I think the place is a good opportunity to start with small. The stage is set well enough to catch all the attention of the audience. Its a very good place both to be a performer and an audience.

This place has a nice setup but the owner should think of the sound and volume range of his instrument s n audience as its is situated in a residential area ...it should be a closed yard or somehow nuisance free and should also have a concerned proper parking lot .

One of the rare city centres for Theatre. Nothing fancy but appropriate. Venue for both new and upcoming talent as well as professional groups. The space encourages direct interaction between the artist and audience. Kabir the founder is always around to facilitate you g artists.

A very unique theatre in Ahmedabad. Ideal for a small audience of around 100. Its inside a bungalow but very well designed for the lovers of theatre. Many interesting Gujarati, Hindi and English plays have been done here..

Vey good space for gethering small crown. Usually theater plays are happening here. Space is well creative and equipped with necessary tools which required for your play. Clean restroom is available.

Recycling the set and not the ideas A great place where art is nourished by great mentors and cherished by a lot of enthusiasts. The plays that are performed have a great sense of humour, satire, richness in the performance and depth in the plot. Love the way this group has discussions with audience after the play.

One of the best good and small platform for theater artist in ahmedabad. If you want organized any event like open mice,stand up show. It is like open air theater. Many good performance was done at that place by well know artist.

Very interesting place run by supper enthusiastic people. An amazing place for small gigs and theatre activities.

Its a good place for watching play or drama.It has low capacity approx 50 people can sit.Its location is awkward so its hard to find this place. But yes, Google maps will be helpful to find it. Big drawback is they dont have enough parking facilities. So you have to park your vehicle somewhere outside

Only issue is that you get noise while performing or in-between anything because thats open space. Other than that I have performed there thrice.

Its a nice place to go watch theatrical plays & drama. Also they organize Culture Talk on Fridays with renowned personalities, which is a good treat to understand why people do what they do.

It is a great initiative for theatre, for creating an interest and for encouraging people to perform and watch. Good wishes so the lovely place could be better maintained for time issues and general upkeep.

The place itself is nice cosy sitout for around 80..100 people to watch performances. I went to watch play. The parking was an issue. This is a bungalow converted to plays and performance artists

Scrapyard is a wonderful vibrant space for creative people. It has a small open theatre space for about 70-80 people and performances, poetry recitation, theatre, cultural talks take place here. Imaginatively created by Kabir Thakore, a theatre personality of Gujarat. It also has a space for meeting a for about 30-40 people. A good place for organising discussions, meeti gs, cultural interactions.
