The only IMAX in ahmedabad is sadly an average one. Full marks for the 3D experience; though the movies offered are way boring and outdated. The glasses offered are okay too; the wear and tear made the glasses uncomfortable. Overall an average experience. Good for kids, they enjoy the movies though i dont recommend for the adults; unless and until the movies gets updated.

This is the traditional IMAX theatre with 70 mm format which is rare. Unfortunately they are not screening commercial films here. What a waste of resources ! My only suggestion to them is to start screening commercial films. It helps them in terms of revenues and believe me this thertre has the potential to become the biggest crowd puller. Sometimes shows are cancelled just because of the lack of audience.

Only IMAX theatre in Gujarat. Truly magical experience to watch 3D movie here. Specially for IMAX theatre movie relate to science created with length of around 45 mins. Also, Screen is too gigantic to see fully at a glance. Movie and sound experience is outstanding. Government has maintained well for future generations. Recommended to everyone.

Only IMAX in Ahmedabad, but still showing only years old short movies. Why dont you show commercial 3d movies which will attract more people to science city and create awareness of the science among people.

Good quality shows. Movies change infrequently though. Nice , quality experience. Can go with family and friends. Can also plan 2 back to back movies.

I saw walking on the moon movie there. 3d experience was really good but movie was not using the whole curved screen. Sound was good. Seating was also comfortable.

Excellent place in India where we watch 3D movie with largest movie or projector screen and good maintenance and also they provide movie like Madagascar and T-Rex dinosaur etc

Excellent and very nice place to you can see moive and spend some quality time with family and friends.

The movie which was played was mostly off sync with stereo view. Left view was not matching with the Right view. Hence I had a good powerful nap there.

I watched two movies one was about T rex and the other one was about moon landing. both were good

Good place for one day scientific adventure...world best 3d experience

My first visit to IMAX, 3D glass quality was not good, it was used and not cleaned properly. A narrow horizontal line was visible on screen. I would prefer other multiplex over this IMAX.

Screen ia very nice, but only few movies options on the screen. Also careful in selecting 3D glasses, majority is with scratches so it will ruin ur experience

Best but ocean 3d movie is missing

As a true reviewer,i had saw harry Potter and the deady hallows part-1 and part-2 in this imax theatre in past....but the real truth is that this theatre owner does not want to upgrade the imax facilities,which makes it lacking in technical support for showing highly animated movies like avengers,so they have nothing to show now and so the old movies are showed in loop,or may be the theatre i unable to get enough costumers so they are not upgrading,but still its the only imax available here ,so the owner should maintain its dignity and overall the movies are sci-fi and indirectly talk about technology with some stories so it should be set to consideration

One of the best 3D n Indias first IMAX

I had to go back twice as it was under maintenance. They should put it on the website when its closed. I travelled all the way from Vadodara and had to go back disappointed.

Nice 3d experience... But movies are same from ages... And no maintenance at all...

It is in fact the magnanimous chain that specialises in 3D flim making, but I hate that it is a part of science city and can only show science related movies. I mean I would love to feel the force in a star wars movie or feel the power of avengers or serve justice with the justice league. Thats what Imax are for..eh...to make you live in the flim itself. Hope they rebuild IMAX in a new place with real movies.
