The atmosphere here is very sacred .It is very well maintained . Its situated on the main road . It is of pure white color which makes it looks very beautiful . Facilities like free drinking water and toilets are also provided . Trees and flowers add to its beauty . Also the temperature of the Temple is comparatively cooler than the city .

It was a wonderful experience there were so many people for Darshan in the temple, got mood relaxed it was like i am just in the nature itself. Temple was well hygienic, drinking water facility is also available. One thing was not upto the point is that--->>>Security checks were not strict, they should check properly all the bags with metal detector device and scanning machines as there were thousands of people.

BAPS is non-profit organization and head quarter is at Ahmedabad...this temple has wide space with all the facilities..some times crowded at sunday at time of sabha..but Sabha gives us peace and relief of daily life...visit premvati for Pure veg and hygienic food..in front of Temple there is hospital also operated by this organization...

Magically beautiful. So pristine to be there. Witnessed aarti. Females are not allowed to go beyond a point in temple. And in temple premises no female can be present beyond a certain point specially if Guruji is coming to perform aarti. Just outside the temple there is a shop Premvati Swaminarayan which provides good snacks.

Bhagwan Swaminarayan first came to Amdavad as Nilkanth Varni in 1799 staying at Lake Kankaria. He visited the city many times, often celebrating the festival of Fuldol here. He frequently bathed in the River Sabarmati, passing en-route, through a fruit orchard in the area known as Shahibaug. Lord Swaminarayan built the first ever Swaminarayan mandir in the Kalupur area of Amdavad in the year 1822, installing the images of Nara and Narayan.

The temple is very well constructed. It has enormous space. The gardens are made so beautiful. Cleanliness is at its best. They also provide lunch there for everyone who goes for Darshan. And if youre having lunch there then have spoon with you (if you cant eat without spoon) because they dont offer it 😅. It holds histories of Swaminarayan Maharajs. If youre going on Sunday, choose the best early morning time.

This is very good place....It gives you peace and divinity as well..The structure of the temple is very historic and It was really good to watch it Continuesly..It also has the beauty at evening with lightning colors.saints and haribakto are very communicative....and they always trying to share thoughts of the satsang and daily life fundamentals which helps you very much.You daily have to visit this place for inner Peace.

Masala khari and other snacks items sold in the temple-associated restaurant is good. There is also a shop inside the temple premises where you can get Pooja items as well as memorable gift items.

Jay Swaminarayan🙏🏻Mandir is devoted to God Swaminarayan. It is run by BAPS. It is also the HQ of Ahmedabad city. It is also the residence of a Guru or Sant( Swami). Mandir is a very calm place and a very divine place of God. One can find inner peace and satisfaction here in the Mandir. There is also a beautiful garden alongside. Bookstall is also available from where you can buy books, audios, videos and necessary things. There are two main halls inside.I used to visit Mandir from my childhood with my uncle. Every Sunday there is Sabha (meeting) where the guru guides and motivates the people to lead a good healthy life with a positive approach. Also Guru teaches to connect with God and in his divinity.Premvati is also present. Here you can buy all kinds of food whether the snacks, meals, bakery products or cold drinks. All things are 100% veg.
