Staffs are good and overall nice experience but the looks of inside the office is littlebit in low lighting. They working in dark, the lightings should be brighter inside whole office. I dont know why they are working in the dark as you cannot imagine that it is night or day outside of the office.

Pathetic portal.. Claim to be 24 x 7.. But hardly have the manpower for it. Sleep is more important than customer service. Tried to make a booking; payment debited from Credit Card for next days flight.. Got confirmation from Payment Gateway but no booking done. Contacted support team and sales team, but they ask to wait for accounts and technical team to arrive to office tomorrow morning when they will confirm whether payment will be reverted to portal or to Credit card. Years of using the portal is all useless as they cannot make the booking on behalf of a regular customer for a mere amount of Rs. 3200/-... Not even the Regional Sales Manager (Mr. Adil Naqvi) who claims to have the authority. Is least bothered of customer relations.. Dont know who made him RSM; Who will bear the additional cost for the same flight which I will need to pay if I book it tomorrow once this fiasco is resolved? I dont know if any senior official is interested in my chatter but I will surely think twice before giving any future business to Akbar Travels. (Agent Code 35010)

I had booked an airasia flight and flight was canceled. Refund was initiated however neither airasia nor Akbar travels are bothered to help their customers.

The most poor way to handle and reply with client...I have booked online ticket and there is no communication even I asked to C G road , Ahmedabad office and then they people told us we can not help you...if you have booked from here then only we can... so people please be aware Akbar travels online and C G road office both are different so please dont expect same services....

I went for booking tickets for my travel to Tanzania at the Ahmedabad CG Road Akbar travels office & the woman on the desk Mansi gave me the most expensive ticket options & was not helpful to find lower cost tickets or refundable tickets for my travel at all! She did not even seem well informed about the travel policies during this pandemic!! I was really busy so I thought Id take help of an agent so as to make my ticket booking process less of a Stressful task!! I really thought travel agents help people to get best possible deals but I was wrong in this situation! I did my own research & managed to get a ticket in half the price as opposed to the ticket she was suggesting to me!!! Thank god for that, or else I would have wasted a lot of money for nothing! So disappointed with the experience!

Not able to contact them for refund. Airlines say they refunded. Akbar travels seems to have taken the refund and not passed onto me. Their phone and email both not working. Seems they are fraudsters. Dont use their services unless you want to lose your hard earned money.

I HAVE BEEN FOLLOWING UP WITH AKBAR TRAVELS FOR THE BETTER PART OF 3 MONTHS NOW ABOUT MY REFUND REQUEST. NO ONE HAS BOTHERED TO PROCESS MY REQUEST, AS THE AIRLINE HAS CONFIRMED THAT THEY HAVE HEARD FROM THE AGENT WHO HAS NOT CANCELLED MY TICKET. HORRIBLE AND PISS POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE WHICH IS TECHNICALLY NON EXISTENT SINCE THEY NEITHER PICK UP CALLS NOR DO THEY RESPOND TO MAILS. ITS BEEN A LESSON OF A LIFETIME.
