Located in a lane off Relief Road. Beware there is a newer Azad Sweets before the original one. Had Puri-Shak, quite good. Pic attached. Meals can be packed (to take on the train for e.g.).Second visit Dec 2019. Had Aloo Methi, Very good, well cooked and tasty. If you are in Ahmedabad and are tired of khaman, dokhla, gujarati thali etx try this place. Pic attached.Third visit Jan 2020, yes I kind of like this place. Had Undhiyu & puri. Quite good, but different from the undhiyu available in Surat. Pic attached.Fourth visit Mar 2020. Had Aloo Bhindi Masala. V good. Bhindi and Aloo were cooked just right, aloo was buttery soft, bhindi was not over cooked. Masala was good, to my taste, not too punjent. Had Shahi Falooda, did not care too much for it. Prefer regular falooda. This one had too much of chopped fruit and the quality of ice cream was not too good. Pics attached as usual. This restaurant is a worth a visit if you are in Ahmedabad.

Best place in city area for Puri bhaji and Puri Chole. Pulav also available.

My daughter ordered poori bhaji,majum,foolwadi and papdi for us from USA by choosing items from nicely prepared menu. But we found foolwadi and papadi of not even equal to some larries of street of Ahmedabad.Packet was having mfg.date of 15/08/21 and delivered on same day noon, is overfried n dark brown and hard to eat.Papadi is never made with turmeric and was made with second quality besan.Renauned name like Azad should concentrate on their products quality.

Gujarati Thali Not So Good As Earlier They Have Taste.

Most delicious dal pakwan in ahmedabad west are because in west side we can not find proper dal pakwan store i ordered every sunday loved it

We tried gujarati thali at 110₹ and it was very tasty than we expected.

Good Food delivered our first box of four meals for two. Came as described, cold and packed in recyclable containers.We decided to try the Mexican honey lime spiced chicken and we were not disappointed. We divided up the jobs and followed the recipe exactly.We had a great meal and plenty of it, my only complaint and it’s minor was that some spices were not labeled. So far so good.

I have eaten sweets here since I was 8 years old

It is located inside the revdi bazar or so called sindhi market which is just outside the ahmedabad railway station. As it is located in the wholesale cloth market it mainly attracts the local business vendors or retail customers. Besides the location azad restaurants is one the oldest restaurants of ahmedabad and famous for its perticular dish puri-bhaji (indian bread with potato based curry).It has the ambience of quite old eateries which is attractive nowadays. Also quality and taste of the food is remarkable. one should always be up for such local delight.

Because of in narrow street its hard to reach but you can find easily by its billboard. Everyone had once tasted it who lives in Ahmedabad. Many branches. Revdibazar is famous for garments and clothing in retail and wholesale so many clients this food chain have. Packed lunch or dinner available here.

Specially went for famous Puri Shak. Puri was little thick but crispy and tasty . Aalu mutter subzi was delicious. They give kanda, fried hari mirchi and achar with plate. Nice combination with puri shak . I ordered dahi & papad also so enjoyed like full lunch. Last I ordered very very famous of their Majum.It was very delicious
