I would like to share my experience with you folks about what happened to me.I ordered Kashmiri Palou.When i eat first spoon of Palou, it was disgusting, sweet and tasteless.Having Kashmiri background i have eaten Kashmiri palou many places and this is nowhere close to Authentic Kashmiri Palou.When i asked them to take it back as this wasnt what i ordered the refused to take it back.The explanation i was given was this is how we make palou in Agra. Its like making agra petha spicy and tell them this is how we make it.I can give 2 stars based on location of the restuarant which is located at the 2nd floor rooftop and is very close to the tajmahal which is arround 500 mtrs from taj mahals east gate.Food is expensive as per the quality, quantity and taste.Wont recommend my friends or family to visit here.

Excellent view of Taj Mahal, a must for romantic candle light dinner.Food was delicious with great service, staff was very polite.We had Chicken Kalia with Garlic naan (a must recommended ) and Chicken Tikka and Chilli Chicken were also great.Overall lovely place and best thing about is its location, very conveniently located near Taj Mahal.

It was an excellent experience. It is perfect place for a romantic dinner. We ordered chilli paneer and malai kofta, both was delicious. Service by Mr. Hakim Singh was totally professional. They made our evening with music and lighting.

You can perfectly see tha from the Taj terrace hotel........ everything is so beautiful in this hotel.

Very nice food and very attentive staff. They also have heaters which is nice in winter to sit outside in the evening. Since its only a few minutes away from the iconic Taj Mahal its a very good place to drop by to refuel.

Solid restaurant which you can see the taj from if you head up to the viewing area. Nicely lit in the restaurant and good curry

Great ambiance, great service and very friendly staff! Unfortunately the food was not up to par. I would have sent it back but the staff was so darn friendly that I only inquired about the food not appearing to be Indian and was promptly and proudly replied that it was continental.Best to stick with what you know, else my mistake for choosing the one thing on the menu that wasnt Indian. Dont get the Sizzling Chicken.

The chicken main course had stale chicken! :(Called for cheese nan later, it had absolutely no cheese in it! I’m sure the mughaliyi cuisine is much better though

They have a good rooftop but the service was so slow the restaurant in the 1st floor was ok but the menu was poorMay be I expected more

We really liked this restaurant ;-) we had a delicious meal, live music, intent and friendly staff and the location is very nice. We can recommand it. Had a candle light dinner served by Mr. Hakim Singh. The rooftop ambience with live music was amazing. Food was delicious also. Overall extraordinary experience.

Beautifull View but very awfull dishes ! Nothing to eat on the meat which was very fat. We ordered chicken curry, butter chicken and mutton but the 3 meats had the same taste. Plus we waited 45min to get served... I don’t recommand this place for dinner.

Please stop pressuring customers to leave a review on the spot. Firstly, you really don’t have to – the food is great, the service is great, the ambiance is good. You don’t have much competition in Agra. Secondly, it’s misleading. At most ask people to review later, in their own time, after some consideration. This is a nice restaurant, but certainly not worthy of such a high number of 5* reviews. One thing I did not appreciate was being dragged into a “complimentary” puppet show which comes together with marble demonstrations, buying overpriced merchandise, etc. in typical Indian fashion. There is no place for such practices in a restaurant that comes so highly commended.

I visited here with a friend due to its high rating on Google. Unfortunately we did not have a good experience, I ordered a chicken curry dish which specified it was boneless but it turned up with bones and I also had to wait another 10 minutes for my rice. The taste was average at best and it was way overpriced. Getting the bill also took 15-20 minutes and the staff did not look very busy. I was left wondering if they were even sure of their own employment. I would have given it one star if not for the nice terrace and the lovely fountain we saw on the way out the front door.

We went to this terrace restaurant while our stay at the Taj resorts hotel. They had good ambience with live ghazal music. We tried vegetarian food which was tasty and the quantities were good. Hakim Singh looked after us and quite well. Not to forget they have a good view of Taj in case you are visiting in daytime

Food is of good quality. Ambience is excellent. Staff is friendly & service is excellent. I love to visit again & refer to my friends.

Please dont go by the reviews on Google. Extremely average food ambience and music.. Smells of stale and damp walls.Oil used Smells bad.. No taste in food and super oily.. Very easily avoidable.. When it started raining we had to carry out plates down.. Even food was served with rain water.Ah yes.. Absolutely no view.. Dont waste your money..

This is the most excellent experience of dinner during the trip in India. Especially if you prefer no spicy food with great taste.

This place is close to Taj about 10 minutes walk to taj East gate. Rooms are average , limited options for the break fast buffet. They serve dinner at the roof top which claims to have a good view of Taj but we couldnt see due to fog.

Yummy food and very friendly staff. Downside is you wont be able to see the Taj Mahal at night and its outdoors without fans. Nonetheless, would recommend.

Very nice Restaurant with live music in the evening.The waiter Hakim Singh will do everything that ist possible to make your stay pleasant. The food is very nice and everything is very clean.

We had a brilliant meal on the roof top terrace, the food was cooked just the way we ordered, being true Brits we had things a little less spicy and it was great to taste the full flavours!Our waiter Hakim Singh was extremely attentive and had just the right levels of service! Very professional but also left us to enjoy our food without interruptions! We even had some complimentary Gulab Jamun for dessert!

I visited Taj terrace restaurant while staying in the Taj hotel. We had two veggie meals, naan breads and lime soda. Everything was very tasty and well prepared. The service was excellent, extremely polite waiters, and especially the manager Sikandar. Thank you

Services here are great! The dinner was served in the beautiful genre of moonlight ... the food was delicious. Even a single nights stay was memorable!!!

Lovely place some beautiful gazzal music and of course the captain sunil was at his very best with his ship under control highly recommended and 10 min walk to the Taj Mahal.

Please be aware that my review is only based on ONE meal here. Your experience may differ.SUMMARY: Best restaurant of the four I visited in Agra. Great quality food for the price and setting.Ambiente: **** nice terrace with a fountain. While I was there a band started playing which was a nice bonus. You can climb a tower for a view of Taj Mahal (which you can also see from the main terrace).Service: ***** attentive friendly staff and quick service.Food: ***** The Paneer Makhani I ate was nicely spiced and the paneer exceptionally soft and tasty. At a price of just over 300 rupees (which most restaurants charge in the area for a main) the quality of food was well above the competition. The naan and roti I had with the main both arrived steaming hot suggesting they are freshly made. However I found the price for the Indian breads to be rather on the steep side.

Suits an older / conservative type of person. Food is reasonable, prices to match. Best thing is the location, but no clear view of the Taj Mahal from the terrace.

Really good vegetarian food. Mostly they are famous for their continental and non veg food but even veg options are good. Tried chilly planner as starter, paneer Tikka masala(gravy), mushroom masala, naan, roti all were good. We had a lunch with friends and it was a amazing experience ... The lunch was very yummy 😋 service was awsum

The food was fantastic, it was very fresh and tasty and the menu has a great selection of food to choose.The resteraunt has a lovely view of the Taj Mahal and very nice ambiance with music and candle lights. Very romantic but also nice for families.The staff are veru friendly and generous, especially Hakim Singh who looked after us very well.I recommend the Taj Terrace to anyobody visiting Agra

Loved this restaurant!! Went with a group of 18 students, and they accommodated us. We were able to get a discounted fixed menu. The restaurant also had great shade and a fan. Our servers captain Sunil thakur and Prakash davendera were super helpful!! Highly recommend.

Location is nice. Food was very good. Thanks to chef Manu Singh. We had a paneer Tikka masala and a malai kofta. It was awesome food. And the Naan bread was one of the best I had in India. The dessert was delicious as it was less sweet as we as Europeans like it. :) Con: one of the lemon soda was made with smelling water but got changed as soon as I said it. Music band (singer and synthesizer) was rather disturbing than enjoyable. Would have loved to hear real flute and drums.

The romantic place in Agra for dining with your loved one. The restaurant is a rooftop restaurant on the roof terrace of the Taj Resort. Wonderful to breathe fresh air in the evening. You can see the Taj Mahal from the vantage point. Next to the restaurant is another swimming pool with a view of the city. The food is prepared in the live kitchen. The live music makes it an atmospheric evening.The menu is extensive and full of Indian specialties.

A place to get away, it is relatively quiet, very clean and the ambience invites you to relax. Our server Hakim was very accommodating and friendly. The food also tastes very good and can compete with the authentic Indian restaurants on the street. The prices are a bit higher, but still very cheap for European standards. I can make a clear recommendation.

Beautiful restaurant on the terrace of a hotel. The atmosphere you breathe is truly relaxing, the two times I have dined there I have always found an Indian orchestra that cheered the evenings. Although it is a chich place, then, the prices are very affordable (I still remember my thoughts the first time I entered there ... I was worried about having to leave a kidney there and instead, once I looked at the menu I laughed for my silly mental speculations :-). Both the waiters and the cooks were very, very courteous and quick, the cleaning of the place (tables, cutlery, dishes ..) seemed satisfactory and the dishes served were really delicious and .... proof of intestinal influence! In short, if you find yourself wandering around here, a trip here deserves!
