Room is pretty well maintained suitable for 2 people and best part is its just close yo eastern gate of tajmahal.... Owner of the hostel is so calm and understandable... If I have to stay in Agra again I will definitely love to go with Big brother Hostel..
Ok manager was so supportive and generous. i will come back and stay again. it was really nice 😊 experience.
Place is really nice and happing ...wld love to come back and enjoy again
Great place for budget travelers. It is a simple place but there was everything we needed including a delicious breakfast every morning. The owners is an amazing guy who take great care of his guests. The location is good and there is many good options to eat in the area.
The best hostel at very affordable prices. We stayed here for 2 days at 89Rs/day per person. Ive been travelling north the last week and this is the only place where they provided room heater.. The name perfectly fits. You feel like home here.. and the food.. being a South Indian, my disappointed taste buds have been craving for tasty food the whole week travel in north(no offense). The food they provide in freedom hostel is tasty af. Obviously the food is not included in the rent but is affordable. Overall, the best hostel.
That was seriously the worst night ever. We had a room with a window to the frontdesk. The air was smelly and it was so stressful loud. We asked the staff to be more quiet 5 times. They seem not to be able to listen to customer wishes. We left one night early as they continued to be loud all day long. Absolutely no recommendation
This hostel is very good for budget travellers, the room price is very reasonable, the location is quite close to Taj Mahal.Mr. Paras is a very nice owner and he is extremely helpful, he treats guests very intimate!Mr. Paras has a special policy for guests, if they take a night train to leave Agra. I have traveled for decades and have never seen it very much appreciated!Hope you also enjoy in the hostel!
Great hotel for budget Travelers! Spacious and clean bedroom, bathroom inside the bedroom with hot water shower, friendly staff, delicious breakfast, great location, close to taj mahal Nd to many facilities. I totally recommend staying at OM.
Great hostel all around gets really loud some nights, staff are great few suggestions don’t advertise 24/7 hot water when it’s not 2 days out of the 4 I had a cold shower, also maybe offer to clean the rooms when guests are staying for 3/4 nights, location is great, like a homestay hostel!
Worst hostel in Agra.- Only a few rooms have toilets, and there are no toilets outside the rooms. Anyone can use any toilet. So during the day and night lots of people will come inside your room to use the toilet. Even the staff after midnight. Impossible to sleep.- Really bad organized. Staff doesn’t know who is in each room. So they’ll check at least 2 or 3 times during the night and multiple times during the day, when people arrive for check in, If there is a free bed in your room. Again, impossible to sleep.- Staff is extremely noisy and from any room you can hear absolutely anything. Once again, impossible to sleep.- Free breakfast is a joke: a mini bread with a kind of jam and a sort of tea -not even coffee-. And they only have three chairs so you’ll probably have it standing up while people come for check in -as it’s in the reception and the only table is the one for the recepcionist- (you also have the common area upstairs, but it’s outside so it’s cold).Definitely avoid it. You can find much better options in the area for the same price.
It was great stay... hostel staff behavior is very nice... I recommend to all of you stay here for different experience...staff, AC common area, roof top, bunker bed,
Yo be honest, when I slept there the place was still under construction, but for 100 Rupees per night its absolutely fine for a couple of days. I guess when the place is finished he will charge a little bit more, which is totally fine though, because its gonna be a nice place, with new rooms, ac, rooftop area to hang out.Not far from Taj Mahal.Owner is a nice guy, help you out, can smalltalk 👍top!
Great value for money, with a chilled and friendly atmosphere. The toilet had a hot shower, working jet and toilet roll so I was a happy chappy. Within walking distance from the Taj, would recommend staying here if your planning to go there
The hostel owner, staff are really good..room was neet & clean, close to taj mahal
This hostel has seen better days. We ordered a double room but when we got there we were told that someone was in it and we could have a whole dorm to ourselves. The staff are friendly but the hostel needs major TLC! It could be great again if it was cleaned up and had some general maintenance done to it.
The most valuable hostel in Agra. The location is super, very near the Taj Mahal. You can visit the attraction in early morning. The staffs - brothers and sisters here - are supportive, helpful and friendly. Rooms are cozy, though the restrooms are under further improvement to be cleaner.
Hostel and atmosphere is nice and its cheap. I liked staff as well very helpful and friendly specially paras. And their beds are comfortable and they have hot shower as well which was very good. They also have different things written by people who previously stayed at hostel which is very fun to read like a piece of story left behind and it was good dinner buffet at roof top every night and good breakfast and tea! And its so close to taj mahal eastern gate yet its quiet Id definitely recommend staying at this hostel.
Amazing community of backpacker hostel . nice rooftop chill out area to hangout and cook in community kitchen together
Paras, owner is a good man. Place was nice too
Super friendly staff, they will teach you how to make chai if you want. They will help you with you with good places to eat nearby. Great place to chill upstairs, little bit like a work in progress but still great place.
The best rooftop Ive been so far!! Staff was very very nice. I can recommend this hostel without any doubt.
It dies the job. If you need a place to just sleep and wash. This will do it for you. Pretty cool illustrations on the wall and the staff are friendly enough tooAlso really close to Taj Mahal so it’s an easy walk from there
The hostel is really nice. The breakfast is simple and its included. The price is a bit expensive, since in one room sleep 10-16 people.
The place itself is OK - basic but clean. Conveniently located near the Taj Mahal and the staff are very helpful. We booked a private double room with its own lock on the door but looking at the dorm there was no evidence of lockers or security and the front door remained unlocked most of the day. We had an awful night sleep as the manager and a guest were talking outside our room until 2am. A dog began barking outside the (glassless) window at 5am. If you value a little sleep Id avoid.
A bang for buck! Good for backpackers and solo travellers. I liked my stay
I stayed this OM Hostel for 1 day. Breakfast is not available here. There is no locker here either.
Nice hostel full of life. Good place to enjoy time.
One of the best hotels Ive stayed at. Close to Taj Mahal, and the cons of the this place is youll feel like youre at home.
Hippie place at its best. Cheap, moderately clean, wall graffitis are something to look to, it consists note from people from all over the world who have traveled and stayed here. Nice and friendly ambience.
I just ran from this Hostel after getting a shower and discovering the GUY WORKING FOR THE HOSTEL SPYING ME THROUGH A HOLE IN THE WINDOW WHILE I WAS DRESSING ME . They are lucky i did not call the police. Awful experience.
My stay in Agra was just beyond great. And certainly mostly thanks to Big Brother Hostel, which is without a doubt the perfect budget accommodation you could wish for in Agra. Thanks to its perfect location, the mighty Taj Mahal can be visited in the early morning, escaping the busy crowds of the afternoon (it is literally a 10 – 15 minutes walk from the Taj Mahal). If you have doubts booking yourself into Big Brother Hostel then doubt no more. The rooms are nice and cozy and thanks to Aunty always clean. The mattresses and pillows are super comfy, guaranteeing a good nights sleep. The hostel comes with a rooftop where you can relax, chat with other travelers or just sit in silence. My favorite part about the hostel was without a doubt the amazing staff that works there.Paras, Deepak, Raj and Aunty are the sweetest people. Not only will they help you with no matter what but they make sure that you feel 100 % comfortable.Hanging out with them felt more like hanging out with friends from back home. And most importantly: Take their offer and instead of eating out enjoy a delicious dinner at the hostel. It costs only 150 rupees, is freshly cooked every evening and so incredibly delicious that I always had to eat more than I should have. All in all a great stay. Thank you so much for everything. I hope to see you again.Markus
AWFUL, wouldnt wish it on my worst enemy. No AC throughout, incredibly dirty, alleyway with open sewage leading up to it, rock hard pillows, mosquito infested, mirror so unclean you couldnt even see your reflection. The staff were extremely disrespectful & self righteous telling us we shouldnt have come if we were ill (got food poisoning from their food most likely). There are many other hostels for less money which are ten times more decent, dont waste your time or cash on this poor excuse for a hostel.
Quite decent place for stay, staff is very polite ,no restrictions ,great location mear to Taj Mahal . Some cons too like hell lot of stray dogs all around , No proper Food facilities, No good common room neither washroom are maintain , but beds are great they even have locker facility for your goods and you get to interact with new peoples around the world.
Wonderful and cosy hostel. Cheap as chips and good. Nice rooftop garden with chill out area.
The Colombian receptionist was super rude and mean. They overcharged me even though my booking clearly stated something else. They false advertise and when you arrive charge you a lot more. The hostel is located down a dark and dirty alley. They charge you to use the kitchen, which is an absolute mess. It was one of the filthiest kitches I have ever seen. The staff was so rude, when we asked what to do, they basically replied we should just walk around, didnt even mention to us that Taj Mahal was free that day! It was a big deal, I would never stay at this place again as they lie and cheat you for more money and staff are so rude.
Was quite uncommdating when we checked in due to us arriving late. Toilet shower head spoiled with no hot water as promised. Bed was very dirty and I had to use my own shift as a pillow cover as the one given stink. Plus side its just a 10 mins walk to Raj Mahal, 2nd day a different staff was very kind and helpful.
Good and relaxing place. Nice people the workers. Perfect place to meet travellers and enjoj in the terrace..listen and play music. They organize also Agra bikes tours.. I raccomend this hostel
Calling it just awesome would be an understatement! I just cant describe the feelings I am left with, when I left the hostel today with wet eyes. The staff, especially Deepak and Suresh were always on their toes to tend to our needs. Deepak indeed needs a special mention because he has made the hostel a home, the responsible 21 year old would always be around to look after you and talk to you. Over a period of 3 days, we were quite like siblings. There are so many stories to read on the wall, hang out with other travellers at the rooftop, drink, smoke and make merry! In a nutshell, youd not feel away from home staying here, maid aunty cooks awesome food for everyone, and yes, the DINNER IS COMPLETELY FREE! Wouldve stayed there if I could.
Great little hostel in perfect location for visiting the Taj Mahal. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Great food in house :)
Best place to stay if traveling alone..Cheaper rates...100 INR a night for normal bed200 INR a night for Air conditioned room bedCommon area at terraceFree wifiLockers availableVery friendly staff
The owner has a heart of gold. The rooftop is a lovely place to relax and the vibe is magical because of the kind-heartedness of the staff.
Budget friendly hostel with very close proximity to Taj Mahal. It cant be located easily as its in a very narrow street just opposite to Atulya Taj hotel. Hostel is having all basic amenities and staff is great. Please dont get fooled by the pictures over google as they are of some 5 star hotel. Its just a simple hostel. Youll mostly find foreigners here.
One of the best backpacker hostel in Agra..Prices are reasonable..... as per the facility...Best for solo travellor......Location is also good as Taj Mahal is just Nearby....Owner is really friendly and helpful....
No wi fi my coustmer stay over there but they are unhappy with everything
Terrible place, do not book it!We arrived very late after a long journey on the train. The receptionist was completely stoned, and was barely able to check us in. The room was very dirty and had an open hole in the wall, what looked like to be a ventilation. It was freezing at night and we wouldn’t get blankets. Also no hot water, so we couldn’t have a shower. Apparently the plumber didn’t connect the wires correctly, but after reading some other reviews this appears to be an ongoing problem at the hostel. Creepy location in a small alley full of street dogs and garbade. The receptionist has his mates over all night, it was very noisy and the lights were always on, so we didn’t basically sleep. The next morning, after visiting the Taj Mahal we were promised a complementary breakfast, but the receptionist would make us share one portion at the end, because he couldn’t be bothered to make two.I would not recommend to book here, although it is very close to the Taj, but not worth the money or trouble.
Was nice experience.the staff was very friendly. Best fesulity in cheap price
Incredible place!!! For stay, it is friendly people and everybody is awesome, lt is a great food!!! Perfect for backpackers
Lovely experience. Recommended for solo travelers and backpackers. Made awesome friends too

I love om ❤ hostel this is amazing hospitality
Nice hostel in Agra. Located few steps away from the Taj Mahal. The staff is friendly and ready to help the whole time.
Really helpfull and nice staff there. Cheap prices, corrects private rooms and dormitory. A faster wifi can be a good improvement. But anyway, you dont come here to stay on your smartphone, greatly recommanded.
This hostel is the best and famous here special respect and care are given to the people who come here
Great hostel for the price. It may not look like much at first but once youve settled in it is definitely a nice place to get away from the hustle and bustle of agra. Staff are all very nice a straight talking - theyre happy to help with anything you need. Excellently located right next to the taj mahal ticketing office and a short walk from the taj mahal itself. Would definitely recommend giving this place a shot.
Ok ok type
Cheap place nicely located. Good staff
OK place to stay in Agra. Its super close to the Taj and the east gate ticket counter. In the downside, this place is quite loud at night and smells really bad sulfur and standing water at night). And I do wish the staff had better informed me about how to get tickets to the Taj (the ticket counter is 1 km from the entrance to the Taj, which can be a bummer if you show up at the gate expecting to buy your ticket there.
Nice for alone travellers .I stayed there .I really liked it
Dorm beds at pretty good rates, great for bachelors.Close to Taj Mahal and its Booking office.Do not opt for the dinner though..
One of the best place to stay in Agra, just 10 mins walk from tajmahal. The hospitality of staff is very good, they go beyond their line to help you. Best choice for budget travellers, good wi-fi and big common area. I also loved the food their, simple, cheap and delicious.
The best backpacker hostel in Agra for sure!!! Beautiful people, place and rooftop. Absolutely recommended!!!
Its a great chill spot and so comparative staff 24 hr service.
The best hostel at Agra and very tasty food from Aunty!
It was a wonderful experience I ever had.. its a hostel with 6 bed in a room.
Decent place, house hase been converted to hostel, outside is little smelly and inside its suffocating, but u have a terrace to chill out, play music & karaoke, I didnt book the place through online, person at the reception kept winding about the cost, had to pay ₹30 more than the website prise.
Im enjoying the day before thankfully to you... good property...
Great atmosphere. Could work on their air-conditioning
Great hostel, super close to the Taj, the people who run it are incredibly helpful and nice.

Very rude owner.. Service is very bad.
Good and neat but something lacks.
Super cheap and staff really friendly and easy going
