Very conveniently located opposite to Ramana Ashram. Good service. Decent rooms on second floor. Value for money.

An okayish stay. Not very well maintained. The food was decent but overall service was not good. Parking facilities in the adjoining space. The rooms in the 2nd floor were spacious but bathrooms are not properly maintained. The one pro being walkable access to Ramana Ashram and Yogi Ramsuratkumar ashram and the property is situated right on the girivalam path.

The room was very clean. Staff were helpful. Restaurant served tasty hygienic food.

Overall, efficient, conveniently located budget hotel. Restaurant and food is decent. Staff friendly and helpful.(The only problem - Slippery bathroom. particularly for seniors.)

I had meals,taste was good, everything is good. But taking too much time to supply the food, we need to keep followup then only you will get any items, otherwise they wont think about us. They said unlimited meals, but bring rice in world smallest bowl. We feel very comfortable to ask many times.Finally what what we ordered the food taste is too good.

Chilli Parota is very very very spicy and I wasted that money spending here. Hotel Kanna provides great Chilli parota. Due to traffic opted for this. Totally regret it and I had a coffee while I was waiting for parcel that is also not good.

Last year when we visit this place it was very good. Now post the pandemic the services are not upto the mark. Maybe they dont have enough support staff. Rooms were OK. Very limited food choices. But we felt the amount charged for the rooms was not worth it. Hope things slowly pick up for them. But the staff who were working there they did try and do their best

We ordered food from here for most of the days we were in the city. Their delivery is very fast. Food quality is good and less spicey.Food price is reasonable. You can also walkin to the restaurant. It is centrally located on the Ramanashram road, opposite Ramanashram.

In the girivalam path, opposite to Ramanasramam very calm and good hotel. Restaurant is very nice ambience, serves tasty food of customers choice. Afternoon meals are widely served in two varieties - one for south Indian meals in buffet and North Indian meals (thali) served at table. Hotel serves the guests in local taxi services, flight ticket booking, money exchange, fabindia outlet and a store attached to it.

- Open parking, can hold 6 SUVs.- Floors are on 1st & 2nd.- Vegetarian Restaurant is at the ground floor- Rooms are well maintained- Well lit with dressing table, mini wardrobe- Rooms tubelight is covered with yellow glass sheets giving a yellow tint.- Staffs were Amicable- Room service available- morning breakfast buffet available from 7am to 9am.

Had such a bad experience there! Went for lunch and as i saw there were available only tables for 6 i just sat at one. Then a group of 9 came and without looking where they could fit they just sat at the next table and just took over the table i was sitting without any common sense of asking if it’s ok to sit or maybe if i am ok to move somewhere else. The restaurant staff came immediately and took the group order like i was not even there waiting for 10 minutes for ordering lunch. And when i asked the restaurant staff about solving the situation as they had more available places they told me i should move or i can wait for them to finish eating and then order. Such a pitty to want to make money against common sense!

The thali had a lot of variety and a sweet dish(payasam) was yummy and good staff

Aakash Inn hotel has stay as well as restaurant. This restaurant serves high quality vegetarian food in buffet as well as ala carte menu. The buffet consist of regular South Indian meals (thali). Instead of serving it, all the dishes are spread it in buffet. The quality and taste of the food is really good. The cost of the Buffet is just Rs.140/- very good ambience, work just enough lightings. The staffs are very polite and courteous. This is located just on the temple road.

A decent hotel with a good restaurant, about 10 mins from main arunachaleshwar temple. Its a small town hotel so do not expect much. Rooms and linens are clean, hot water in washroom is available. There is a car park too beside. Its best past is the restaurant, serves great breakfast. Dinner was nice too and the staff is courteous.

Very well maintained rooms with adequate amenities. Location is excellent if you plan to do Girivalam, visit Temple and visit Ramanshramam - which is what almost every visitor to Tiruvannamalai does, I suppose.The staff are very courteous.Breakfast is good and the restaurant is also excellent in terms of taste, quality and price. Would surely recommend and will be my preferred stay for all future visits.

After covid, service of this restaurant gone worse. Went there last week only to receive a poor customer service and inedible dosa. They dont eve tell that something is not available for eg, chutney. And time it took to bring dosa was 30 min !!!

Good food, which even North Indians will like. Comfortable stay. No frills. Great service. Excellent location. Opposite Ramana Ashram. With the Majestic Arunachala visible from the Balcony. On the Girivalam route and also close to the Temple. Has a Grocery store in the basement , so very useful for all kinds of food stuff and essentials at a reasonable cost.

A very good place to have lunch at TVM.Hotel cum restaurant is located just opposite to Ramana Ashramam.They serve South Indian buffet at Rs130/-, North Indian thali at Rs 160/- and other ala carte items like Sambar Rice, Curd rice , Veg pulao / biryani also. We tried both South Indian buffet and North Indian thali and found them to be of very good taste.It remains crowded during peak lunch time between 1-2 pm..so you may have to wait for 10-15 mins. Dont miss their spicy yummy clear soup and paneer curry.You can park your cars on the road side opposite to the hotel.Worth to visit again.

Hotel looking like a good one . But when I order for rotis and Nanas there are non available. I was at hotel around 2 pm . Veg buffet available . I never had this much pathetic buffet in my life . instead of buffet we call it as a mess(in small hotel if you order a full meal you will get more items than they served. Soup is very very bad . Rice sambar roti potato curry mixed vegetable curry thats it . taste is not at all good

Very good location opp Ramanaashram but lacks ckeaniness bedsheets are not replaced after every check out, we need to ask the staff to clean the room and the change bed sheets. Otherwise they have good restaurant. Cake shop ect

Our stay at Aakash Inn has been made a memorable one by the hospitality of the reception staff Mr. Mustard and Ms. Satya. They were very nice and helpful and created a homely feeling. Another great point was the restaurant. Taste of the food served was excellent. The ambience and good a/c made us to overeat! Restaurant staff also are well behaved. Location wise it was ideal for us because we came here to spend maximum time in Ramanashramam. Even to visit temple there was no problem because autos are waiting to take @ Rs.50. So over all it was a great trip for us Thnaka to Aakash Inn. We had opportunity to meet Mr. Muthukrishnan , M. D of the hotel. Despite being a big entrepreneur of good hotel chains , his simplicity and commitment to quality of service was something amazing. Only point of inconvenience was non availability of lifts which probably may be installed soon. We recommend this hotel to all.

We had our lunch here and had not stayed as we were passing the town. We haf South Indian vegetarian buffet lunch for RS 130. Food was good and tasty. I would recommend this pure vegetarian restaurant to all. The service was good and the manager was courteous and explained what all dishes would be there in the buffet. Also for children they gave a discount. Overall it was a wonderful experience.

Pleasant Stay -Visited as a couple for Pilgrimage and stayed in double A/C room for one night.Pros -Nice location just opp to ramana ashram, Auto fare is Rs.60 to drop u at temple entrance.Hotel is away from congested areas and right in Girivalam path.Room comfortable with nice A/C and clean bed.Food was good and tasty, Complimentary BF had good spread. Pure Veg in house restaurant had nice ambiance. CONS -Bathroom fittings needs to be upgraded, but it was clean.Parking area was dirty needs to be cleaned and maintained properly.Overall if your at Thiruvanamalai for short stay for pilgrimage, U can stay here and wont regret for your decision.

A good hotel for all kind of travellers. Location is good. Rooms are good but very compact. Food is also good with limited menu. Continental menu also available with simple menu. Overpriced on food and stay for a small town like thiruvannamalai. Needs more ventilation and better housekeeping. Well suits for family, solo travellers.

I was only in their restaurant. maybe a good idea for the owner to seperate the inn and the resto?!big affordable all you can eat buffet with good food and a big variety in an air conditioned resto. very popular and therefor busy at peak times.expect to pay higher prices at dinner time. lunch buffet is 130, evenimg buffet 270.when orderimg a vegi curry with rice i was suprised that rice was not included. cost 55 for plain rice, which was a portio  for two-only my measure. the waiter explained some need even more than that for the same amount of curry i had!

Very nice restaurant. Breakfast buffet is excellent. Even if you stay else where restautant is highly recommended.French restaurant and Pizza shop and Italian Gellato right next door. Pizza was a thin crust pretty good for the place.Staff are courteous. rooms are small but weel maintained and clean. Price seems a bit high for the size of the rooms and lack of other facilities. Parking ramp and access need to be fixed kept clear of obstruction. Recommended place to stay if tiny rooms and narrow corridors are not a concern.Extra beds has hard springs. So get another room rather at least till such time they check all the extra mattresses.

Very strategic place to be in. Opposite raman ashram n seshadari ashram. Yogiram suratkumar ashram is also nearby. Reasonable restaurant available. Girivalam road. Could do with a little maintenance though. Staff are alsoVery helpful

A well maintainef hotel. It is very neat and clean. The rooms sre spacious. There is enough parking space for your vehicle. The location is superb. Just in front of Ramana Ashram and very near to temple. You cannot walk but an auto will take you for just Rs 50.00They have a restaurant but the food is above average.

We have been here 2 times on 2 different days.. always the buffet vessels are empty.. after asking the manager 10 times he would replace the food in those .. but very fast in giving the bill

Room is very small but cost is too high...Geyser didnt work for entire stay... Only couple can adjust and no third person fits.... No proper maintenance....TV is a basic model of LCD and its very small in size with only Tamil channels....As I experienced I cant stay again in this hotel surely....Food ok and staff good

I want to recomend this place. Restaurant is the best in Arunachala. Why? First of all it is very tasty. They suggest wide variety of Indian food. The place is very clean with air conditioners. Prices are so little! Quality of services are higher then the price.

Well located, in a peaceful environment, very close to Ramanashram, Yogi Ramsurat kumar Ashram, and Seshadri Ashram.Hotel is very clean and decent for families to stay. Well mannered staff, provide good service, comfortable rooms with hot water facility, good AC, comfortable on the whole .It has an excellent restaurant attached where variety of tasty tiffins are offered, good meals as well as hot and cold beverages. Nilgiris super market is also a part of it , not to miss the kumbakonam special degree kapi outlet just adjacent to the hotel (only kapi available)...A few feet away there is a Shantimalai handicrafts emporium worth visiting to shop for any handicraft items and good fabric..

Very convenient location. Located on the main road with Nilgiris super market and a juice bar on either side. Also diagonally opposite the Ramana Maharshi ashram. Rooms are clean and decent. Restaurant attached to the hotel for meals. No lift so one needs to be prepared to climb 1-3 floors.

Aakash inn is a 2 star hotel , a sister concern of hotel Arpanaa in Thiruvanamalai. We had an awesome stay in a comfortable, clean n a luxurious room - Value for money. The location is best, as it has a veg restaurant serving yummy food downstairs . They have a healthy millet meals for the health conscious. Theres a juice bar too. Neat and heavenly. Nilgiris supermarket is also located in the basement . The Famous Ramana Ashram is just opposite the inn. The staff is very prompt and helpful. My heartfelt gratitude to Ms. Sathya, who has been extremely kind and efficient. Thiruvanamalai stands for purity , kindness& spirituality. and Sathya has definitly imbibed the quality of the place (which is rare these days) .The team must be very lucky to have a good human being like Sathya on board. kudos to you guys . Looking forward to many more stay at this place .Cheers:-)

Great location, very near to Ramana Ashram. Restaurant and Nilgiris supermarket just below. Very comfortable to stay. Size of the bed is bit small.

Being a C center town, I thought anything we see online is just a hype. All I wanted was a decent hotel not spoiling our trip. Totally unexpected awesome experience. First thing we booked for supreme rooms, they a upgrade to executive room without a single penny extra. Second thing I have seen many negative comments on this hotel which is incorrect, there is another hotel with the same name nearby bus stand which is bad. Superb millet lunch and the best free Buffett breakfast. Super meat clean rooms, bathrooms and an effective a/c. Geysers are available for hot water. Service was good too. No complaints except a leaky bathroom hose of hand washer. One should also appreciate there vast parking space. Location might be a disadvantage as the commutation to and from to temple is Rs 80 by auto. We were 3 men came for Padhayatra for the first time. We will recommend this hotel to any group of people

The front desk staff Ragu was excellent, great customer service and overall stay highly recommend. Also the restaurant was very good quality and again excellent service. I would like to mention the manager on duty friendly helpful and very excellent customer service ... Highly highly recommend !!

Its a neat place. Small comfortable rooms and all of them with AC. No elevator, the rooms are on the 1st & 2nd floor. There is a vegetarian restaurant at the ground level serving good food, and at the basement Nilgiris Super market . The place is diagonally opposite to Sri Ramanashram on the main road and has a parking facility as well. I have been a regular visitor with my family and have no reasons to complain.

I was traveling from pondicherry to Bangalore and stopped at this place for lunch.Its a pure vegetarian restaurant. They have two variety of meals. North Indian and South Indian meals. Both of them tastes good p pricing at 167 and 127 RS. Where 127 is south Indian buffet.The restaurant ambiance is good and even washrooms.

A good place to have a quick bite in the evening. The 3 of us were extremely hungry as we were touring. Saw the jazzy entrance and stepped in. Ordered 1 cup tea, 1 cup coffee, 1 plate bhajjis. Except the tea which was ok, the rest was good. But I guess coffee is the drink made better in the South of India then tea. A small but sweet experience. It does offer lodge facilities also but cannot comment as we did not stay there. Good ambience. Cordial staff. Good place for a small quick bite and leave.

Perfect location for Ramana devotees. Allowed check in at 430 am. Great staff and service. Room quite clean and so was the bed...perfect pillows 😀

Excellent place to have dinner in tiruvannamalai good cosy set ip with courteous staff it is just opposite to ramana ashramam so popular with tourists and foreigners only downside is there is a waiting period for about 10 to 15 minutes to get a table

Sat to have lunch alone on a table of two in the corner. Half way through lunch a bigger group came and sat at the nearby table. They had one extra person so he quickly sat down opposite me. Without asking permission or showing basic courtesy. When I told them that atleast they should ask permission they were rude and told me to talk to restaurant person. I got up and stood there.. waiter did not notice. Finally as I was leaving he came to check what happened. He was apologetic of the events but complete-ly incapable of getting those guests to move or show some decency. I walked out... Not sure if he even realised I hadnt paid the bill. And I wouldnt have paid anyway, because I had been kicked out mid meal.
