Wonderful monument. 7th wonder of the world. Great to watch. The real Pride of India.
Very beautiful well maintained
This concept of quadrilateral garden or a monument surrounded by garden on all four sides originated in Iran and was brought to India by Mughals. First perfect example of this in Indian architecture can be seen at Humayun Tomb and it culminated in Taj Mahal at Agra later on.It is visually very attractive and enhances the beauty of the place.
A Nice Historical place. You must visit here. The complex is set around 300 meter (980) feet square charbagh or mughal garden. The garden uses raised pathways that divides each of four quarters of garden into sixteen sunken parterres or flowerbeds. Halfway between the tomb and gateway in the centre of the garden is a raised marble water tank with a reflecting pool positioned on a north south axis to reflect image of mausoleum. The raised marble water tank is al Hawad al-Kawthar in reference to Tank of abundance promised to Muhammad.Elsewhere, the garden is laid out with avenues of trees labelled according to common and scientific names and fountains. The charbagh garden, a design inspired by Persian gardens, was introduced to India by first mughal emperor Babur. It symbolises four flowing rivers of Jannah (Paradise) and reflects the paradise garden derived from Persian paridaeza, meaning walled garden. In mystic Islamic texts of mughal period, paradise is described as an ideal garden of abundance with four rivers flowing from a central spring or mountain, separating the garden into north, west, south and east.

Nice place..The complex is set around a large 300-metre (980 ft) square charbagh or Mughal garden. Halfway between the tomb and gateway in the centre of the garden is a raised marble water tank with a reflecting pool positioned on a north-south axis to reflect the image of the mausoleum. The raised marble water tank is called al Hawd al-Kawthar in reference to the Tank of Abundance promised to Muhammad.[28]Elsewhere, the garden is laid out with avenues of trees labeled according to common and scientific names[29] and fountains. Well maintained, although crowded. Visit early morning to beat the crowd
Wow !!! Amazing Place Now The Taj Mahal is an ivory-white marble mausoleum on the south bank of the Yamuna river in the Indian city of Agra. It was commissioned in 1632 by the Mughal emperor, Shah Jahan, to house the tomb of his favourite wife, Taj..................

The garden is very simple. Only the lotus pools (with lotus-shaped gargoyles) are beautiful, here is mausoleum and on the marble bench, almost anyone can photograph.
