Lovely,holy,large,superb place,I love it,In front of main gate u got locker,keep your objects like mobile ,camera shoes in locker,You get 100 rs prasad there for devi temple.No object is allowed inside templeAfter coming out of temple you can take a auto ride hoti rs 300 for some other temples like,panchmukhi hanuman,lakshman kund etc, worship in nagraj temple is expensive upto 1000 to 2000 rs,you can skip it,,you can get a hotel near main temple ,if you are coming by train auto can drop you to any suitable hotal in 50 rs,, rooms are available from rs 700 to 2000,thank you

Its a 3500 yr old Temple as per my knowledge . The Radha krishna mandir near the mankameshwar temple also have a unique significance .I still remember going there in my childhood and a cat sitting there looking only at the Radha krishna .The cat is no more but I wish I could be there like it.

It is said that the shiv linga is covered by silver metal and was founded by Lord Shiva himself during Dwapara era, when Krishna was born in Mathura.The temple has one sanctum sanctorum where the vigraha of Lord Shiva sits. It is surrounded by the typical Shiva family idols. One has to descend down a score of stairs to reach the sanctum sanctorum. One can reach fully close to the main vigraha provided one does not wear leather items and English style pants, pyjamas, and salwaar suits.Behind the sanctum sanctorum are several small temples within the main temple complex. These are devoted to various deities like Goddess Ganga, Saraswati, Gayatri, Hanuman, Kaila devi, Narsimha, Krishna, Rama to name a few.

One of the four main temple situated on the four corners of Agra dedicated to Lord Shiva. Mankameshwar temple is bit hard to find if you are coming for the first time so do ask from localities. Parking is not available here. Mahant Yogesh puri is actually very positive monk so try to get his blessings necessarily. Its a Lord Shiva Ancient temple located inside busy streets of local market in Agra. The temple is like ordinary temple but the Shivling built inside is really old, I dont know exact history, but the temple is surely ancient and very famous. I myself have testimony of my life regarding my prayers being answered here. I am going here since childhood. One should be dressed in a ethnic attire to enter the main shivling area in temple to do the rituals (POOJA). woman should e in saree and man in kurta pyjama.
