Other highlights include the Khas Mahal (Private Palace), with its splendid copper roof, and the Anguri Bagh (Grape Garden), a jigsaw-patterned Mughal garden with numerous wonderful fountains and water channels as well as screens that once offered a private area for the emperor and his entourage. Also of note is the octagonal Musamman Burj tower, which later served as Shah Jahans prison until his death.

It is a historical place with a lot of beauty.
Part of the Agra fort. It will take you a few minutes to see it. Originally used for walks by the queens. Apparently, grapes were grown there for the emperors wine. The gardening was done in a very sophisticated manner. Just walk by it, you will see and understand it without giving it any time

Anguri Bagh, Agra OverviewCentrally situated in the premises of Khas Mahal, Anguri Bagh was built by Mughal Emperor Shah Jahan in 1637. As the name suggests, Khas Mahal (or Aramgah- i - Muqaddasa) was constructed for the emperor as his exalted place of leisure and rest, to suit his taste. Besides the several other additions in the palace, the main part consists of a hall with recess and rooms in a surrounding semicircular pattern and a huge courtyard in the front with tanks, fountains and hammams overlooking a spectacular garden which is- Anguri Bagh. The hammams or the imperial baths were used by the royal women to spend time in complete privacy, to relax and to socialize, and the paradise garden right in front was designed as the idea for their pleasant retreat. This sprawling charbagh (four complex compartment) styled garden is flecked with intricate geometrical patterns. Originally popular for thick creepers of grapes- their cultivation and harvesting, the garden accurately came to be called as the Garden of Grapes (Anguri Bagh). The surrounding structure is composed of fine white marble which was initially painted and gilded in gold and was adorned with exquisite beautiful paintings. It is believed that back in olden times the garden had lush green vineyards of choicest and juiciest grapes, and was prettified with beautiful water fountains and small artificial cascades. If touring Agra Fort, this is a must visit spot for insightful exploration of the Mughal history
The large rectangular court measuring about 67.6 m. by 52 m. in front of the Khas Mahal is the garden laid out in the Char Bagh pattern with small hexagonal grids of red sandstone, now called Anguri Bagh. According to Abdul Hamid Lahauri this garden had dwarf plants of sweet fragrance. Most probably grapes (angur) were grown at a later date in this garden which gave it the present name. The garden is attached to the Khas Mahal by Shah Jahan in 1637. On the east below the marble terrace there is a small tank in the centre of the quadrangle marble paved platform measuring 14.7 m. square from which radiate four marble paved paths measuring about 5.5m. wide.
