Good get away with ocean view room and very tasty food. Drinks from outside allowed but they do not provide refrigerator. But beach is clean... Good crowd and family place. If you wanna chill this is a good place.

Very nice and beautiful place to chill. Has good vibes. We sat during evenings in their restaurant/shack and ordered stuff to eat and drink.Cool and courteous staff.

Not at all worth the price theyre charging. Theres not even a telephone in the room. Shabby and conjusted rooms, not properly cleaned. Poor service. Constant power fluctuations to the extent that it fluctuates every minute. No network either. Bad policies in terms of payment and refunds. We can get a fancy and posh place for the same amount.

Don’t RUIN your time at Agonda Beach!!!! Stay away from the annoying head waiter at Simrose’s restaurant. You can identify him as the overweight guy with greasy hair and a slimy, sarcastic and bad attitude toward guests. He made my wife and I feel really unwelcome and uncomfortable with unnecessary comments. And agonda is pretty remote, so raising a complaint against such characters also feels unwise.If someone at Simrose reads this - your single staff member is putting your entire establishment to SHAME!For co-travellers — Try to avoid this experience, go to one of the many shacks here filled with beaming and welcoming staff and good food.

Staying here currently in one of their highest priced luxury huts.Pros-1. You are near the agonda beach.2. The rooms in the building are probably better value.Cons-1. WiFi does not connect near our hut. The signal is too weak. Probably stronger near the main building. Tried both on phone and mac. Could not attend a zoom work meeting. Jio signal is too weak near the beach huts.2. You are supposed to lock your hut, go out to the restaurant or the reception to get RO water even at midnight. No water bottles or jugs are supplied.3. For every small request, you are supposed to go to the reception (no intercom). There is no way to contact the reception, tried three of their numbers mentioned on their website, no one picked up. Since there are too many mosquitos, had to walk to the reception to ask for a match for mosquito coil.4. The mosquito net provided inside has a hole in it. It basically defeats the purpose of the net. Small things like this points to their overall attitude.5. It takes a humongous effort to even open the slide door and hut doors. Outdoor furnitures are in bad shape too.6. The poor service and attittude seems like they have simply stopped caring or are waiting for international tourists to start caring again (🤑🤑)7. The side view huts are not worth the money at all.8. expensive average tasting food and drinks. 5 pieces of Paneer tikka costs 400 bucks. Drinks are more than double the price you could purchase on your own outside.9. Ill leave you with a photo of their WC cleaniless, which is a perfect representation of the property, trying to appear shiny on the top, ugly when you take a deeper look.

Lovely place.. Especially their cottages. The property is right on the beach. Staff is extremely polite efficient. Food is decent.

We booked the first floor room for 8 nights. The property is really good. The food in the restaurant in amazing. If you book the beach facing huts, the view will be exceptional.The staff here is friendly and courteous.The rooms are a little smaller than what one would except. There is no mini-refrigerator in the rooms

Excellent place to stay, eat and unwind. The staff here are amazing. They will make you feel welcomed, cater to almost every need of yours. The huts/cottages are well maintained and spacious/well built compared to other beach cottages. The food also is top notch, do try their pastas and tandoor items. Overall had amazing experience here. Would recommend highly.

Great for chilling. Simrose is located at the heart of the agonda beach and probably one of the best in the area. Their garden huts that we stayed in were cozy and tidy. The resort staff is very welcoming and I really liked their service.Apart from this the restaurant was pretty lively and food was good too.Would definitely visit again.

Lovely place - possibly the best in Agonda. The sea facing restaurant, bang on the beach is the best part of this property. The staff and the manager of the restaurant are very nice, so is the front office people.The only issue I had was the old fashioned design of the rooms and the toilet. The chalets or the log cabins are better designed and newer. Mosquitoes are an issue in the room here and you have to be armed with repellants.

Simrose is a gorgeous resort on Agonda Beach. We opted for the garden cottages - the rooms were a bit small but had a nice little sitting area in the front. They have an in-house beach side restaurant, the Goan food was not very good but continental food was great! Service is great too. Pictures online dont do justice to how nice this resort actually is!

I wish there is a negative star rating system. This place deserve that. Poor room quality and tasteless food. Food was really overpriced. Staff is not maintaining hygiene and cleaning. Location was good as it was on beach but as compare to prices you can get any other place on the same beach with good and tasty food.If you are travelling to south goa avoid this place. It will save your time and money. 🙏🙏

We had lunch at their restaurant. The location is excellent and the cabanas are excellent for chilling. The place is cool and breezy even in the noon time sun. The views are to. die for. The food is tasty and fairly priced, and the staff are every so friendly and courteous. Will take the option to stay here as soon as we get a curative

I will miss this place sooo much! The location is excellent, the food delicious and the atmosphere perfect. You could stay all day in the restaurant as its so relaxing and confortable.But my top favorite thing was the staff! So caring and so adorable, they make you feel like you are with family and you get help and good advice anytime! :) I will come back again, same place! No doubt!

Had an amazing time at Simrose!Staff is super friendly and welcoming! Individual huts are provided. Room/Hut is great for 2 but little congested for 3 people (although they provide separate bedding for the third person). Huts have a little outdoor area to sit and chill out. Back side of the hotel leads you to the Agonda beach. Washrooms are clean and tidy. Parking is available. Scooty rental place is 2 min walk from the resort. Theres a shop next to the resort to buy snacks.Simrose Restaurant inside the resort is a lively place to eat and relax.Staff at the restaurant is very amiable! While walking on the beach, I noticed simrose restaurant to be the most vibrant and cheerful out of all the others on the Agonda beach belt.

Excellent place right by the beach. Excellent service and wonderful staff including Dinesh, Ajay and Saroj making the experience a wonderful one. We were extremely happy throughout our stay there. Restaurant has a very relaxed feel to it. You could stay there all day and enjoy the food with a great view. Do try the delicious lemonades served here. I would highly recommend this place for a relaxed holiday at Agonda.

Amazing location, good huts and good food.

Lets start off with the only thing thats bad here. There is 24 hour current fluctuations in this place so the Ac in all the rooms dont work. One of the rooms had the ac working but the other didnt work at all and we faced some problems in the goa heat.Having said that every single thing about this place is beyond words to explain. I think I will be visiting Goa only to stay here. Beautiful resort, beautiful open air restaurant on the beach, excellent location and lastly Mr Dinesh and his team of superb managers who are so so so hospitable and so homely. They will make your stay so much fun and relaxing. I traveled with my family and dog. They made even my dog feel so much at home! Fantastic! Will recommend all

Good property along the Agonda beach. We stayed in quadruple room and the room was good with respect to the cost we paid. The restaurant location was amazing. We felt cool breeze even during March afternoons. Ajay and Binesh were very helpful and accommodating.The only thing we did not liked was that the food and drinks were overpriced. Drinks were well above mrp. North Indian food was decently priced, but seafood was overpriced. Example, Kalamari starter costed us 1200, which outside one can get for around 300/400.Overall a very good experience, will visit again.

On room service there was baba ji ka thullu !! No intercoms were available in any rooms, and they gave ONE water bottle for the total stay, which sucks !! The staff is not at all co-operative, they do judge guests on the basis of room taken. The only best experience was the restaurant service and the location of hotel.

Worst ever experience for the rooms and the services which they provide . For staying in rooms not worth a penny ..even water bottles are not provided in rooms, we need to refill every bottle from the receiption.....the resurtaunat is decent and even their staff are polite and sweet.

Just beautiful. I think the USP of Simrose has to be the food they serve. You just can not go wrong with anything you order. The only issue you may face is the bad cellular network and unreliable wifi.

One of the best resorts in Goa. Its a premium place and if you want some privacy with your family this is the one of most idyllic places to go. Food is a bit expensive but there are many options outside.

The service and staff are amazing! Food is good... Do try the peri peri Prawns (and ask them to make it medium spicy). You will get most Goan cuisines here (Xacuti, Vindaloo, etc.), but for some reason they are off the menu. Good place to chill and enjoy the waves and the sea.Will have another visit for lunch the next time.

This was an idyllic place to stay - everything was just gorgeous! Beautiful beach like Paradise, lovely accommodation and delicious food. The best part of the experience though was the service and the friendliness of the staff. They were so welcoming and did everything they could to make our holiday wonderful. We are planning to come back next year, which says it all!

Beautiful property on Agonda beach. I first heard about this place when I was staying in an adjacent accommodation and decided to come here for dinner. We were really impressed with the decor, ambience and cleanliness of the property. We ended up booking this place for our next visit.The cottages are neat and clean, has all the basic amenities. Do not expect anything fancy and you will not be disappointed. The staff here is really attentive and super friendly. They really go out of their way in making sure that your stay is comfortable.Their restaurant seem to be very popular around this area, all thanks to the delicious meals that they cook up.Did I mention that they are dog friendly. We came here with our pet beagles and instantly felt at home with all the love and care shown by the staff.Highly recommend Simrose. We would definitely love to come back.

Just back from a month in India and this was by far our best hotel experience.The rooms are very basic, but very clean with comfortable beds.The staff are what makes this place stand out. Service comes with a real friendliness and you really are made to feel at home or like one of the simrose family.The restaurant has a great menu with something for everyone and the food tastes delicious.The beach is literally on the doorstep and there are spaces on site to sit in the shade if the beach is too hot.Highly recommend.

Had been to their spa. Its expensive but worth it. Havent stayed with them but I did check out some rooms for stay and they were beautiful. During the peak days a little expensive but for a holiday, worth it. Restaurant attached and right next to the beach.

The location of this place is very good - bang on the clean and beautiful (although a little turbulent) Agonda Beach and in the middle of the sandy stretch. Our rooms and facilities were basic but clean and comfortable; they could improve the shower pressure though. The whole place was under construction because of the recent ruling of Goa high court and ongoing rains but, they still kept everything in order for us and we did not face any issues. They also have beach huts, which should be perfect for couples and small families. Their restaurant is also on the beach but it was also under construction for first 2 days and semi-functional on the last one. The food and drinks were pretty good - fresh and tasty. The best part of our stay was the service, which was very very good. Special mention for Dinesh and Buddha, who kept us happy throughout. Overall, a good package.

Great service, food good value..( R320.for a plate full of breaded prawns with fresh mayonnaise and honey dip.... delicious )Rooms run from R 5000-8000 a night...though walk in price may be cheaper.Plenty of chill out area plus big restaurant seating area.Bang on beach.Loved it..only there for a quick bite, but will definitely be back.

Just returned from staying at the Simrose for 3 days while my Son got married. I can’t say enough about the staff at the Simrose. They went way beyond what I expected to make everything perfect. From the check-in, the restaurant, those taking care of the rooms, they were all excellent!. It’s clear the management sets the tone for a fantastic experience.
